Boy at heart

CHAPTER 3

Mr. Lockwood sat beside her at the back of the car which by the way seemed super expensive to her. She sat there quietly trying to wrap her head around the events which lead here in the first place.

She still wasn't sure whether she should count the events as fortunate or unfortunate. As Ivana sat there thinking ,it finally hit her that the only disadvantage brought about by today's events was her missing school. Apart from that everything else seemed to be okay for her since she would be away from that bully and her pathetic life for a while.

She would sad about her Aunty though but she finally came to the conclusion that since the good outweighs the bad ,she would enjoy the little amount of freedom she has been given whiles it last.

With all these thoughts still somewhere in her mind ,she decided to take a look outside through the windows and the scenery that she was met with took her breadth away. They passed by various buildings which were very long in length and also adorned in different kinds of light. She was fascinated by all these so much that she didn't even realize they had reached their destination and that Mr Lockwood was trying to get her attention to tell her they had reached.

Ivana feeling so embarrassed to be in a dreamy phase in front of strangers quickly jumps out of the car with her hands on her reddened cheeks. Mr Lockwood looks at her and unable to contain his laughter anymore bursts out laughing with his driver Josh also following his lead. Her face reddens more and she hurriedly enters a glass door and eventually stops when she came to terms with where she was. A very famous seven star hotel which she heard of so many times from her rich mates of how sophisticated the place was after attending various events here and even the inability to afford the place more than twice.

She frantically searches for them and finally spots Josh behind Mr Lockwood speaking to a man who looked equally respectable. She locks eyes with Josh who waves her and she returned the gesture. She notices Josh lean over Mr Lockwood to speak in his ears to which Mr Lockwood nobs his head and also leans to speak in his ears. Josh then jogs over to Ivana's side after speaking with Mr Lockwood and asks her to follow him.

Due to to tiredness, she tells herself to personally check her surroundings properly the next day on her way to school after a few hours rest since it was almost midnight. Josh leads her to the elevator and the get off on a floor which seemed kind of private to her. She is then shown a door and given a key card. She asks Josh when she can meet Mr Lockwood since she had so many questions which needed answers and also many doubts that needed clarification. Josh replies by saying she could in the morning and that she must have a good rest.

Ivana enters the room and is shocked to see the size. The room was a suite and she still couldn't believe her eyes at the beautiful scenery in front of her. She wished greatly to have brought her old camera which Aunty Rose gave to her saying it was her mom's.

She then felt how exhausted she really was as she was taking in the site of the room and rushed to lay on the bed with a final thought of the clothes to wear to school tomorrow since she had no extra.
