     There was a car speeding towards me. All I see is head lights from a car directly in front of me, then everything goes white. The next thing I am seeing is blurry lights and faces. I'm in a hospital. I'm laying down on a gurney being taken to a room, I believe. I've seen this in movies, and well the movies aren't entirely wrong. Everything is blurry and all the noises are faint.

     "Her names Elizabeth Banner. Take her to room 314. We need to do quick surgery on her left leg! Right now!"

      That's all I can hear before everything goes white again.

     ~~~~~~~~~~~~
     I am running through a forest, tree to tree running from someone... I keep running until I hear nothing else other than the leaves and little sticks breaking under my feet. As soon as that's all I hear, I move behind a thick tree to catch my breath. But when I sit down, I'm breathing normally. I am crying quietly to myself when I hear a cracking sound behind me. It's at least 15 feet away. I pull myself together and try my best to be silent. I hear the sound again, but this time it's much closer. I swear I learn most of what I know from movies. I stayed as silent as anyone could possibly be. I didn't move one muscle. No matter how much I was tempted to, I wouldn't look back to see who it is. I can't let my curiosity win, because surely, I would die. I've seen it 100 times.
     Then I hear a faint whisper in my ear.
     "You'll be mine."
     That's when a knife was plunged into my stomach, and I look down and try to stop the blood from leaving my body. Then I bring my eyes up to the killer himself.
     It's Nathaniel.
     It was only a dream. Oh, thank god. Everything is blurry, once again. The walls and floor is painted white and I can't make out the person in front of me. I viciously fist my eyeballs as it clears up enough for me to see my mother standing there. Her eyes look baggy and worn out, so she must have been crying. Not just crying, my mother has insomnia, which explains the bags under her eyes. Her long light brown hair is a tangled up mess.
     "Oh , Elizabeth! Thank God you're awake! You've slept the past four days, I was scared you would never wake up."
     "What happened?"
     "You got on a car accident, honey."
     Sorrow filled my mother's face. It all flashed back into my mind. I remember it all now. Nathaniel cheated on me, I freaked out and left. That's when it all happened. My eyes got wider and I sat up. Pain shot through my leg and I cried out a little.
     "Ouch, dammit. What happened?"
     "Elizabeth, watch your mouth! You had surgery on it as soon as you got her. You almost went through your windshield and your leg bone was nearly destroyed. You're lucky your leg hooked onto the wheel. Yes, it tore the muscle, but you're alive... I'm so happy you're okay."
    Figured. I forgot my seatbelt. I was too distracted to even think of putting a seatbelt on. That's when the doctor walked in.
     "You're a very lucky girl, Elizabeth."
     "So I've been told."
     "You can leave today, just keep it easy on your leg. Here is some medication to numb the pain."
     He hands my mother the medication, and flashed smiled at me. He is a middle aged man, and looks like the typical handsome doctor.
     "Thank you so much doctor. I'll take Elizabeth home now and let her get more rest."
