We Meet Again

Chapter 20 - 5SOS rehearsal

„That one is definitely one of my favourites!” Tessa exclaimed while giving  5 Seconds of Summer a standing ovation - the crowd only consisted of her and Perrie, even though some sound technicians was running around making sure everything was ready for tonight’s show. „No I’m actually always kinda scared to perform this song - I mean somehow it often end up in girls throwing their underwear from American Apparel up on stage,” Luke shuddered which made both Perrie and Tessa laugh hysterically. „You should probably have thought about that before writing a song about it,” Perrie said.

Just as the boys finished the rehearsing Louis, Zayn, Niall and Liam entered the arena. „You guys look good up there,” Louis whistled at his friends on stage. „Thanks, where were you guys? You were supposed to run the show over with us before rehearsing,” Callum asked curiously. „We had some things to go through with Simon and the PR people,” Liam stated not explaining anything further. „How did it go?” Perrie asked nervously - Zayn had already shown her the video and she wasn’t fond of him smoking weed, but it was his life and she didn’t want to stand in his way of living it the way he wanted.

Confusion was written all over the 5SOS boys’ faces since they had no idea what was going on. Tessa had gone on Twitter the instant Harry had left her room and she had watched the video several times - she didn’t really know how to feel about it. On one side they were her friends and if they wanted to smoke weed then who the hell was she - or anyone else for that matter, to tell them no. But on the other hand they had this huge fanbase who looked up to them which made the role models - which meant their actions should probably have been kept in the dark.

When Harry entered the room Luke, Ashton, Michael and Calum had watched the video - and they were all now discussing if Zayn and Louis had been wrong in their actions. „If you want to smoke weed - I’d say go for it. It’s your life,” Calum said and shrugged. „Not right before a fucking show - on video - right out for the world to see,” Harry grumpily interrupted and then the room went silent. „Well at least you could have worn you seatbelt Zayn,” Tessa said and sent him a wink to know she was kidding. „Are you fucking kidding me?” Harry yelled. „Jesus Harry, I was just trying to lighten the mood a bit. Sorry…” she explained.

„Sorry babe, I just don’t really know what to think of this - and now both you and Perrie have to leave because of it. I was just so excited to spend some time with you,” Harry apologised. „What, why do we have to leave?” Tessa asked confused as the entire group of friends where focusing on their conversation. „Simon’s rules…” Harry replied defeated. „Oh, well at least we got to see each other - and I got to see you perform again - it was an increadable experience Harry. But please don’t take this out on your friends, your bandmates. They made a mistake - but don’t forget you still have the right to live as normal people. Someone hacked Louis’s phone and he couldn’t have foreseen it”. „You’re right, I’m sorry. It just hurts to know you won’t be there when I get back from tour. We don’t have that many shows left and then we go back to the studio in London - while you’ll be working in New York. I just don’t want to be without you. Could you…Could you just please move in with me Tess?”
