✲chapter three ✲

I step inside the elevator and turn around, waving to Todoroki as it shuts close, him waving in return.

The doors close and I sigh, "I should've gotten his number."

[Todoroki's POV]
[Name] walks into the elevator and she turns around. To his surprise, she gives me a
close-eyed smile and waves goodbye to me and he waves back.

"How adorable"

"Wait Shouto, no, don't think like that. You just met her for God's sake"

He shakes his head furiously, like you would when clearing an 'Etch-a-Sketch'. He quickly heads over and get a visitors pass, taking the next elevator up to his mother's room.

"You seem awfully chipper this afternoon," Rei Todoroki says to her son happily. "I have a feeling it has to do with someone, hm, my mother senses are tingling," she says and thinks, "was this someone a girl?"

He roll his eyes, "I swear you're a telepath," he pauses, "I did actually meet a girl, her name is [Name] [Last Name], she said she knew you. And anyways mom, I just met her so don't get any ideas."

"Oh I love [Name]! She's like a daughter to me," she exclaims with a bright smile on her face, "well another daughter."

She chuckles a bit, "Did you treat her well?"

"I believe so, she asked if I wanted to have lunch with her, I'm thinking of saying yes, since you like her so much of course," he says bluntly.

"That sounds like fun, you should say yes, you meed to make more friends" Rei s
winks.

"Yeah..."

[Name's POV]

The doors close and I check my phone.

"Bank-Robbing Sludge Villian captures boy — saved by All Might"

I click the article and read.

"Last night, middle school boy — Katsuki Bakugou — was saved by All Might.
After robbing Dorsett Bank, the sludge villain fled; eventually, he coming across the middle school boy, taking control of his quirk and body.

The villain then proceeded to reek havoc upon the city with the boy's quirk. Heroes rushed to the scene, but none were able to subdue the monster. Eventually, a quirkless boy — who has decided not to give his name — storms in to help, but before he can do so, All Might steped in and lands his 'Detroit Smash'.

Shortly after, the sludge villian is captured and put into empty bottles. He was taken into custody by the police.

Thank the lord for All Might being there, or else, this incident would've probably ended up much worse."

"Eh boring," I yawn, turning off my phone, putting it in my pocket as the doors open.

I make a right turn and look for my brother's room.

"Room 231, where are you," I say under my breath, "there you are!"

I enter the room and see my brother sitting on the bed, checking his arm out.

"Hey Reo!" I say, "wassupppp"

"[Name]!" he exclaims, standing up putting out his right arm, the one that isn't hurt.

I slap it and we proceed to do our handshake: two slaps, one grasp, two handshakes up and down, one elbow bump, one belly bump, and two butt bumps.

"A doctor's gonna come in and heal it, then we can go eat after, okay?" he says, brushing his blonde, wavy locks aside.

My family has always been tall, but my brother, he's tall. He's 6'6, it's unfair. Here I am stuck at 5'4 for the rest of my life; even though, my mom's 6' and my dad is 6'3 so how in all God's creation am I 5'4?

I play with my black sweater's sleeve a bit. "Did Kiri make it into the hero course?" my brother asks. I perk up, "yeah, Eijiro did. I'm so proud of him, he's wanted this since we were kids," I say with a smile. Once I finished my sentence, the doctor walks in.

"Finally,  my arm is fixed," Reo says, rubbing his wrists.

"I know right, how in the world did you break it in golf?"

He chuckles, "I have no idea."

Soon, the elevator doors open and we step inside. It quickly takes us down to the lobby.

"I'm gonna sign out real quick," my brother says, going to the line. I sit down and play with my sweater sleeve, my mind going to Todoroki.

"He was really cut- I mean nice yeah."

"Why am I thinking about him wtf?"

"Oh hey [Name]," I hear.

I turn to see the one and only Todoroki Shoto.
"About you offer," he pauses, "I'll have lunch with you."

I'm so sorry for this suuuper late update. I had a bunch of homework this whole week and crammed all day yesterday so I couldn't get around to posting. Please forgive me.
