The psychopathic vampire gazed deeply into the radiant moon, he wanted some time alone to clear his mind.

Although, only Yui occupied his mind all day. He couldn't stop thinking about her.

His hand gripped tightly into a fist. If only he could own Yui alone without his brothers to disturb them.

Not to mention, they all already kissed her. That might seems like it doesn't bother Kanato, but deep down..he felt betrayed.

He doesn't want to like Yui, he hates her more than anything.

He hates her for being submissive to the other vampires other than himself. She did claim that she belongs to Kanato and Kanato only but she betrayed her own promise.

Did she say that just to please him? Well, right now he doesn't feel anywhere near pleased.

He was irritated and confused.

He wouldn't allow his brothers to become dominant over her, it always gave Kanato a weird feeling in his chest.

He wasn't sure if he loves her or he just hates her.

"Kanato?" A gentle voice called.

Speak of the blood bag...

He turned his head to look at Yui. She was wearing her light pink strapped nightgown.

Her smooth blonde hair framed her fair face nicely, as it falls past her shoulders. Her dress hugged her torso until her hips. After the hips, the smooth fabric was loose around her petite legs as it stopped right above her knees.

She stared confused at Kanato's intent gaze on her. It made her felt uneasy, as her stomach churned yet concerned when she saw the sad look in his eyes.

It was clearly obvious Kanato's condition was getting worse day by day after his unexpected confession. Even Kanato himself was surprised at his own actions, he knew himself that he wanted to learn the true meaning of love.

with Yui...

"Yui, do you come here to clear your mind?" Kanato assumed, shoving his freezing hands into the pockets of his tight jeans.

A smile flashed painfully on his contorted face.

Yui shifted uncomfortably before nodding. "A-are you here perhaps for that reason?" She asked back.

He let an amused smirk formed on his lips, and his eyes gazed back at the moon. "Yeah, and to see this moon." He admitted.

Yui felt her ears twitched at his words. "It reminded me of our first meeting, doesn't it." Kanato chuckled, approaching her with a grin.

Yui, on the other hand, was surprised as she felt his cold hands met her warm ones.

"Yui." Kanato spoke, his eyes glassed with pain when he saw her unease look.

He leaned towards her despite her consent.

"Please don't." She pleaded, pushing him away. Kanato felt hurt because of her rejection.

"I can't see you anymore." She said, that made Kanato's heart fell.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked, his voice shaky. "This has gone too far, Kanato." She stated, sighing.

"T-too far, I would never do anything that would upset you." He reasoned, brushing a strand from her face.

"What are you even saying?" He cringed.

Hasn't he given her what she wanted? Happiness?

"What you said last night still..bothered me." She admitted, her eyes fixated on the floor.

"Why did it.." His voice faltered, as he felt a lump forming in his throat.

"You keep saying things that you don't mean." She explained.

"B-but, I do really mean them Yui!" He screamed, grabbing her by the arms.

Yui was fazed by his actions for a while before her lips turned to a painful smile.

"Stop messing around.." She chuckled, her heart clenching. She knew he was just acting, there was no way Kanato would truly love her.

Kanato even desperately put on a pathetic act by making fake tears to trick Yui into loving him.

Although, it was a failure.

She removed his hands from her shoulders as they fell next to his waist.

He was too surprised to react. She leaned upwards and gave him a quick peck on the cheek before exiting the room.

He didn't miss the tears leaving her eyes when she left the room.

Tears streamed down his cheeks as he felt his chest squeezed.

That's right, there was no perfect feeling of happiness in this world. Even if the feeling was because of love.

Love?

"Oh, Kanato. You know mummy loves you very very...much." A faint voice resonated at the back of his head.  The familiar sinister voice that he loathes very much.

Cordelia Sakamaki.

He broke down at the thought of the name, his tears fiercely streaming down, staining his cold cheeks and the pitiful thing is, he didn't know who to blame for his tears.

The reason... why he had been frustrated..

"It's..."

The reason... that made him look weak and vulnerable...

"...It is.."

The reason that made him fall...in love,

"It's all your fault!" He screamed his dead heart out.

"Yui!"
