Amayra POV :
God, hopefully the head cabin crew is nice. Hopefully the head cabin crew wouldn't be mad at the cabin crew who were entertaining me.
The head cabin crew came in and what I saw blew my mind away. Oh it was my guy not really my guy but the guy who I have not been able to forget, the smirking guy.
He talked to the crew and he glanced towards me as soon as he saw me there was this twinkle in his eyes , like he knows me, like he is very glad to see me, like he is very elated to see me there sipping Ginger Ale, Oh how I am thankful for this cup of Ginger Ale now.
He walked my way he actually sidelined the cute guy I was talking too , Aakash I feel so bad for that guy who was very sweet to me, Aakash got busy with other cabin crew I was still busy gawking at this man standing in front of me, he grinned at me and we started talking
Smirking Guy : Hey
Amayra : Hi
Smirking Guy : what is your name ?
Me : I am Amayra, Oh where are my manners what is your name ?
Smirking Guy : I am Puneet !! Hi !!
He outstretched his palm for a handshake I looked at it and bit my lip , you know that moment when your mom gifts you a one thousand dollars for shopping ? Though it never happened to me, I know how happy people get when someone offers you that amount so yeah here I was biting my lip to stop myself from blushing. I put my palm in his for a handshake and it felt different !! I had goosebumps all over my body , I never wanted to leave his palm. His palm felt big compared to my small hands with very thin fingers.
After that scandalous handshake
Amayra : Hi ( Do not blame me now he said hi while he outstretched his hand I am doing the same thing while continuing to blush Of course)
Puneet : What are you doing ?
Amayra : I am just standing here drinking my Ginger Ale
(He looked at my half empty cup now)
Puneet : Would you like a refill of your drink ?
( I looked at my cup and realized I need to keep sipping it not stare at him that way that is so not my style !!)
Amayra : Sure, I would love that
He smiled at me and went to get the bottle of Ginger Ale
I mentally thanked myself for not mixing up my words because if I was given a chance I would have said "I love you" in the place of I would love that. I congratulated myself for not making a fool out of myself)
Puneet came back and started filling my cup with Ginger Ale
Puneet : So where are you from
Amayra : I am from India
( Great going Amayra, way to embarrass yourself , Of course your from India , he is smart he would have gathered that fact by now because of my Indian looks and Indian accent. Oh one more thing I am traveling in a international flight to India, Can I be anymore stupid ?)
Puneet gave me his heart melting smile ...
Puneet: I know you are from there , which is your native place ?
Amayra : Hyderabad !! Which place do you belong too ?
Puneet : Delhi
Amayra : Oh okay. So, Puneet why do you intimidate your co workers so much ?
Good going Amayra, now you have officially graduated from institute of stupidity in blurting out the most stupid things ever ? Why dont you jump off from the plane right now ?
Puneet : Why do you think that ?
Oh god he had a serious frown on his face. No dont be mad remember you are the smirking guy !!
Amayra : Dont be mad !! I said that because you hardly smiled at them while you were talking to them , you were too serious... Scratch that I was just teasing you ... I am sorry
Puneet: That is fine !! I never realized I can be intimidating !!
Oh god he is mad. Where is his smirk noooo .... Dont tell me he is going to walk away now of course he can remember you made him angry .... good going.
