Amayra POV :

I just finished with my presentation and I can tell you that it feels wonderful, I feel relieved. I wanted this presentation to go well so that I can proudly ask for a leave then. Yes I will be leaving in about 10 days to visit my family , my mom and my little brother. If I screw this up I can predict my boss reaction about my sudden plan for a holiday.

The decision on this presentation is going to be out by tomorrow, I finished my work and on the way to my flat I saw a temple open , I immediately washed my face outside the gate and went in and wished that this presentation would go well. If this goes well it will not only give my career a good turn but also help me in visiting my mom for a month. Yes I booked the return tickets after a month. I know it is difficult to go away for a month but from the time I started working I never took much time off, I was always working, I probably might have taken about five sick leaves since I started in this company but that was also work from home. 

I woke up in the morning and I was sweating profusely , I started getting ready to work and I skipped my breakfast because I felt like I might throw up if I ate anything. I sipped my tea and got to my work , I saw the lights were dimmed, I cannot see anything and suddenly I saw people pulling me in some direction , I started screaming then there was a light of candle , oh there was a congratulations cake. Oh wow everyone started congratulating me for my efforts and of-course I got the deal. To say that I was happy would be a small word, it was amazing. After that little celebration I requested my sir to give me time today so that I could talk to him about something important.

To say that my manager was scared would be a small word he was fidgeting , why was he nervous or fidgeting ? 

Manager : Hey Amayra , look you have done an amazing job till now and I know you have contributed a lot to this company. You have started working as HR and now you transitioned to be a Marketing / PR manager , every one loves you over here, they love your work ethic, if you want take a hike but please reconsider your decision to leave...

Amayra : Sir, actually ... (What ? he is thinking I am going to quit ? wow he is afraid I am going to leave ? I never knew he liked my work !!)

Manager: Look you just bagged yourself a deal and we would love if you work in deals like this with us 

Amayra : Sir , Please can I interrupt ?

Manager : Okay ...

Amayra : I am not leaving .... I just wanted to visit my family in USA for a month, but I will work from home throughout my leave

Manager : Oh...

Amayra : Why would you think I would leave ?

Manager : Well in the meeting you were talking to the Rajkumar industries who was also pitching for the project and he was smiling at you ...

Amayra : No !! I was talking to him because he told it was a good presentation and he knew I was tough competition for his company. He asked if I would join but I said I cannot because I love working here. I did tell him if I know someone who matches his requirement companies requirement and field then I would recommend someone if he would like.

Manager : What? Why would you not recommend someone in this company ?

Amayra : This is a complete Advertising/Marketing/PR company while their company has some vacancies for Engineering , Operations and IT background.

Manager : Okay 

Amayra : Can I get my leave please ? I will be leaving in about 9 days and I will be there for a month, I will be on call whenever I am needed and I will be working from home most of the time. I promise there will be no negligence on my part. 

Manager : You can go !! You need a vacation anyway. I will sponsor your trip there if you could attend a meeting there 

Amayra : What meeting ?

Manager : Our family friend lives there and he is a potential client for his new product , would you like to do it ?

Amayra : Okay I can do that , email me the details.

Manager : Sure !! Have a good trip !!

Amayra : Thanks !! I would not let you down !!

Manager : I know !! 

I went to my cabin and started checking my emails, I got an email from my agent

 Oh good the payment is processed and my tickets are booked, wow these came out cheap, I am glad I am traveling at this time of the year when tickets are cheap. I scrolled down to download and print my ticket , I opened it and that left me shocked
