Suddenly group seemed to get a lot better.
I waited for about 45 minutes listening to the leader drone on about how we should focus on the good things in life and turn to our friends for help.
When the 45 minutes was over, all the students scrambled out of the room and to their cars.
"Well hi again," I heard a familiar voice say.
"Hi again," I replied.
"Listen um, are you doing something tonight? Because my favorite band is playing and stuff, but if you don't wanna come it's totally ok, I was just wondering..."
He sounded nervous. It was cute.
"I would love to come!" I practically screamed "but I think I should probably find out your name first!"
He laughed.
"My name! Yeah! My name is Ben!"
