Hanna's POV
I finished setting up my locker. The bell rang.
"Oh no"
It's class rush time. I was walking to class when I bumped into someone.
"Sorry!" we said in unison
"I'm Jake"
"I'm Hanna"
"Let me help you with that."
"Thanks"
"What class are you going to?"
"History"
"Me too! Want me to walk you?"
"Sure"

We walked to history class together and some of the girls gasped as I walked in.
I took a seat in front of Jake, and my best friend Katelin (Riley's daughter) sat next to me while Ryan sat behind her.
"Hey Hanna! Where were you?"
"I got knocked down trying I get to class."
"Oh. Isn't that guy cute?"
"Yah"
"Should I ask him out or is he taken?"
"I don't know"
"Well either way I'm asking him after class."
I frowned. She was talking about Jake!
I looked up at the board and saw the teacher.
"Dad! What are you doing here?"
"Calm down Ms. Friar. Here I'm just your teacher."
"Well how is mom?"
"She's with the twins at home" he whispered
"Okay. Let's get on with this! Cause I already want to leave"
After class
Jake was walking over to me when Katelin went over to him. When their conversation ended Katelin started happy dancing.
"Oh no! He said yes"
I walked to my dad's class.
"Dad"
"Yes Hanna"
"Did you ever have a time where you liked one girl but the girl ended up picking another."
"Umm not really. I always knew who the right person for me"
"Who was that?"
"Your mom. But be careful of mean girls because they had those back then too."
"Thanks dad!"
I hugged him then went to class.
