Dream Boy

Lucas's P.O.V.

I slowly opened my eyes and yawned. I looked around, and there was nothing but me, my bed, and my friends. I hummed as I held my friends tighter. "It's...not dark..." I sighed. I was going to say 'dark and spooky' but everything was just, white. I shivered. "And cold." A voice said. It wasn't mine, either. I looked around, and no one was there. "H-hello...?" I frowned. I felt someone tap my shoulder, and I turned to look at who it was. It was a boy with blue hair, blue eyes, and he had blue fox ears. He sighed, then said, "D-do you know where we are...? I was looking for mommy and papa, but they're not here..." There was something off with the boy... Then I realized what it was. He had a huge scar on the right side of his neck and he was holding his left side. I then realized he was missing a tail...I frowned as I looked at him. I then lightly touched his scar on the side of his neck. "I-I mean...I like to think this is just a dream...what happened? You look like you're in pain..." My ears lowered as I looked into his pretty blue eyes. Someone this pretty doesn't deserve to be in pain... The boy sniffed as his eyes watered. "My-...my people died... I watched it all happen and watched my parents die and my siblings leave me..." I whimpered as I frowned. I could hear the sadness and pain in his voice... "That sounds horrible..! I'm sorry you had to experience that..." I looked down. The boy sniffed, then lifted my head up before saying, "W-what's your name...?" He attempted to say this with a smile, but failed horribly. I frowned, then pulled him into a hug. "M-my name's Lucas..." The boy nodded. "I'm Elij-" The boy stuttered, then cleared his throat as he sighed. "E-Eli..." I hummed. "It's n-nice to meet you, Eli.." I forced a smile at him. I could tell he forced a smile back as he whimpered. "I miss my mommy..." I frowned, then hugged him tighter. Eli slowly hugged me back as he sighed. "I hope you don't leave me...You seem like you're the only good thing I'll have now..." I hugged him tighter. "I promise, I'll never leave you!" He smiled widely and hugged me tighter. "Yay!" I giggled and hugged him tighter. He's soo prettyyyyy~ Oh!~ He smells like chocolate too!~ "I like your hair!~ It's so pretty!~" I blushed a lot, then looked at my hair. I then smiled widely at Eli. "Thank you!! You're the first one to think that..." "Well then everyone else is a stupid head!" I yelped as I blushed. "H-hey! Th-they're not..." "Yes they are! Your hair is so pretty and beautiful and I wanna be with you forever cause you're so nice and pretty and you're the first person to really like me." I felt my entire face heat up as my ears perked up. I then buried my face into his chest as I smiled. "I'm not as nice as you, though...A-and I wanna be with you forever, too!" He chuckled and placed one of his hands on the back of my head. "Ok! Then we'll be together forever!"

I slowly opened my eyes, then whimpered. I looked down and sniffed. I miss Eli already...I sat up, then sighed as I held my friends tighter. My blue fox toy reminded me of Eli, so I held him closer and sniffed him. I smiled, then sighed. I want the day to end now so I can sleep! I wanna see dream boy again! I puffed out my cheeks and squeezed my eyes shut. Sleep! Sleep!!

My mommy walked into my room and looked at me. "Sweetie..? What's wrong...?" She asked, clearly concerned. "M-mommy! I had a dream! I met this boy named Eli, and he was really nice but he was hurt! He lost his friends and family!" I whimpered. She sighed, then mumbled under her breath, "an imaginary dream friend, eh...?" But I didn't pay any attention to it. She then sat next to me and pulled me into her lap. "What does this 'Eli' look like?" I gasped and held the blue fox tighter. "He has really pretty blue hair and eyes! He also had blue ears cause he was a fox hybrid! Like me! B-but he didn't have a tail..." I looked down and she hummed. "Well..this boy sounds nice." She smiled at me and I smiled at her. "He is!~ He's my first friend!~" She smiled wider and kissed my forehead. "Well I'm glad you made a friend, baby." I nodded rapidly as I giggled. "Oh! Lucas! Your birthday is in two days." My mommy smiled widely at me and I gasped. "Really?! REALLY?!" I grinned widely. "Yes, sweetie." She laughed a bit. I giggled and smiled widely. "YAAAAY!!~ Can I have more toys!?~ Can I have a tv?!~ Pleaseee?!~" My mommy laughed, then nodded. "Of course you can, baby~ It is your birthday after all." I smiled wider. "YAAAAAAAAYYY!!~" I cheered as I threw my hands up in the air. My mommy laughed and hugged me tightly, and I hugged her back. "I need to tell dream boooyy!~" I giggled and she sighed. "Ok...But when it's bed time." I pouted. "Fiiine." I groaned. She smiled, then kissed my cheek. "I love you, Lucas." "I love you too, Mommy!~" I giggled. "Can Trevor come for my birthday?" I asked her as my eyes brightened up. She looked at me, then looked to the side and sighed. "O-of course, honey..." I hummed. "O-..ok!~" I giggled. She smiled at me, then sighed. "Now, we have to go buy you some presents sweetie..." I nodded, then she put me down on my bed, then walked away. I decided to take a nap, so that's what I did.

I slowly woke up, and I was in the same place I met dream boy in. I smiled as I looked around and sat up. "Eli?!~ It's my birthday in two daays!!~" I yelled...No response. I hummed. "Eli...?" I looked around, still no response. I frowned, then laughed a bit. "E-Eli...Yo-you can come out now...I miss you...Stop hiding!" I sniffed as my eyes watered. I waited for a few minutes...and I still didn't get a response. It was silent. It was killing me. I started crying as I looked down. "Eli..." I mumbled, and I continued to mumble his name while I cried. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and pet my hair. "I don't like seeing my friend sad... Cheer up. I was looking for you... I'm sorry I disappointed you." My eyes widened as I looked at who it was. "ELI!!" I screamed as I hugged him tightly and cried into his chest. He hugged me back as he sighed. "Don't be sad. I'm really, really sorry." I hugged him tighter as I cried. "I-i m-mi-iss-sed you!" He sighed, then sat down and held me in his lap. "I'm really, really, really sorry." I slowly stopped crying and sniffed. "I-It's fine..." "But I made you cry..." I sniffed and shook my head. "N-no you didn't...i-i was just being a baby..." "But if I found you earlier you wouldn't be crying..." I sighed. "It's not your fault, dream boy!" I pouted as I pressed my cheek against his chest. He sniffed. "O-ok." I looked at him, then grabbed Mr. Fox and put it in Eli's hand. I then kissed his cheek and hugged him tighter. He blushed and smiled widely. I smiled at him. "Your smile is beautiful." He blushed more as he shook his head. "No it's not, but yours is." I pouted as I hummed. "But your smile is beautiful!" "Ok, ok. Both our smiles are beautiful." I smiled widely. "Exactly!~" Eli chuckled, then looked at Mr. Fox. "He looks like me." I nodded as I smiled widely. "So I can snuggle with him when you're not around!~" Eli smiled at me and rubbed his eyes as he sighed. "So..." I looked at Eli and raised an eyebrow at him. "So..?" "Your birthday is in two days, right?" I smiled as I nodded rapidly. "Uh-huh~" "Well make sure you come see me so I can say happy birthday!!!~" I giggled as I smiled widely. "I wiiiiiillll!!~" "Yay!~" I giggled as I smiled at Eli. Eli hugged me tightly and rubbed my head. I purred loudly as I closed my eyes and leaned into him. "You're so warm..~" Eli chuckled as he held me tightly. "Thanks~" I nodded as I purred. "You're welcome, dream booyy..~" He smiled wider at me, then yawned. I rubbed my head against his neck and purred as I smiled wider. "Fall asleep with me, Eliiii~" He also purred as he chuckled. "I'll do that~" Eli laid down as he held me tightly, then closed his eyes. "Night night, Lucas~" I smiled wider and moved closer to him. "Goodnight, Eli~" Eli hummed as he held me tighter and soon all I heard was his breathing. I smiled as I closed my eyes, then slowly fell asleep.

I slowly opened my eyes and yawned. I smiled as I hugged myself. I could still feel his warmth...~ He's so nice! I love him so much!~ I giggled as I thought about Eli. My daddy soon walked into my room and smiled at me. "Hey, bud." He said as he sat down next to me on my bed. "Hi daddy!~" I giggled. He smiled at me. "Why are you so happy?" I smiled wider. "Oh!~ It's my birthday sooonnn!!~ And! And!! I met this dream boy in my dreams!~ His name is Eli!~ He's so waaarm and purrrrfect!~" I purred as I thought about him. "Dream boy...?" My daddy asked, then mumbled under his breath, "None of my sons better be gay..." I hummed. "Yes!~ Dream boy!~" I giggled. He hummed. "Lucas...I have to...do something." He sighed roughly, then got up, walked out of my room, then slammed my door shut. I yelped as my eyes slightly widened. Is...Daddy mad at me...? I shook my head rapidly. "Naaah! He just, slammed my door on accident!~ He couldn't be mad at me two days before my birthday!~" I giggled.

I sighed as I laid in my bed. "Yeah, I'm not sleepin toniight!!~" I giggled. My mommy then came in my room, and kissed my forehead. "Goodnight, baby~ When you wake up tomorrow, it's going to be one more day until your birthday~" She smiled. I giggled as I nodded rapidly. "YA!!~" She smiled. "Now, sleep!~" She smiled wider, then walked out and closed my door. I shook my head, sat up, grabbed my laptop, then played on it for the rest of night.
