//~Ashome's POV~\\

              I continued on my way. Little jaunts were constant nowadays. If the locket began to glow, I took it as a signal to run, considering what happened with Nightmare. Sometimes, If I'm not paying attention, I hear a small squeaky voice in my head. I know it's not Arzil because it speaks calmly, unlike the demon, who speaks rudely. I finally found a forest that nobody was in and decided to camp in a tree, curling up to keep warm. Before I fell asleep, I thought about when I would see Ink, Dream, and Blue again.

        I stood, admiring the sunny breeze and sandy beach, my soft ears twitching slightly. The blue sky was calming and it seemed like the perfect day for kids to be running around and playing sports. As I admired the view, I felt a presence close by. Turning slightly, I saw a boy. He had black hair that was dyed red at the tips and cat ears- 'like mine...' I thought -that matched his hair. I thought his ears were cool, considering mine were just a dull grey color. He wore a grey sweater and had a silver locket that seemed to glow a red color. "Hello.." I began. Was this another nekojiin? He waved in response. "Who are you?" I asked. "Aaron..." he replied. As we spoke, I hadn't realized that my locket was glowing brighter and brighter until it became a blinding neon pink glow. I held the locket up, and the cause of the light emerged from the locket. It was a small flying cat the size of my palm((Picture at top)). She smiled brightly as I looked at her confusedly. "Sprite..." Aaron simply said, noticing my confusion. "My name's Rose!" she exclaimed. That's the voice I hear in my head! "So you're the one that talks to me..." I stated. "Yes! And I brought Aaron here so you could meet before you see him in the real world!" She explained. "I've only ever met him once, and it was a brief meeting because Ink gave Aaron the wrong sprite.." she said. "He's not much of a talker you see. He was raised horribly, his parents stitched his mouth shut for most of his life, so he's just grown to not being able to speak..."Rose explained. "I see." I realized I hadn't introduced myself. "My name's Ashome by the way..i-it's nice to meet you!" Aaron made a close-eyed smile as a reply. My dream was ending, it was getting dark. "I guess this means I'll talk to you later?" I asked. He simply nodded. After a few minutes of darkness........

      I woke up. "So, Rose, where do I need to go to actually find him?" I mumbled, hoping Rose heard me. 'Just keep running, you'll find him eventually.' she replied. I got up from my spot, stretching and ready to run barefoot yet again. As I ran through the forest, my short hair flying out of my face, I heard Arzil, presumably groaning at the fact I was running this early in the morning. 

           After I was out of the forest, I seemed to have been dragged to a specific spot in the next city. I was ready to run into an alley before I heard movements, so I hid by a crate nearby. As I peaked over the crate I saw men wearing black searching places. While I looked at them, I heard another girl speak in the alleyway I planned on entering. "Hello..." she whispered. As the men approached where she was, she quickly moved. "Don't let them catch me..." she said quietly. Minutes later, I heard a scream and the men scrambled out of the alleyway. I peaked at the scene, and I saw a girl, around the age of thirteen, her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She wore a dark grey hoodie with short-shorts and grey tennis shoes. "Thank you....I'm Ashley, what's your name?" she asked. It wasn't until the person she spoke to replied that I realized who she was thanking. My eyes widened and I tensed at the sight. "Nightmare..." he spoke. I took so much time to calm down that I hadn't realized he took Ashley with him when he left. 'I sensed something off about that human girl....' Rose spoke. "Let's just hope he didn't see me..." I said.

At this point, all I can do is run. I'm going to run until my legs can't take it. I have to find Aaron, Dream, Blue, and Ink. I have to tell them that Nightmare has a hostage, that the hostage is unsafe. We have to get the poor girl away from those monsters before anything happens to her.

     So I just keep on running.
