(A/N)~If you don't like my story, that's completely fine. This story was made to introduce you to my oc, Ashome. It may also have references to other books on here, I'm sorry if you are reading this and know what I'm talking about. I had organized this oc, and added some ideas from other stories. But please, enjoy. :D~

~-No one's POV-~

The poor girl was thrown out at a young age. Bad family, health, life. She was often called a freak, but she got used to it. The way she looked; everyone thought she would have been thrown underground. That's why she stayed away from Mt. Ebott. She would always stay in the alleyways - that's what she called 'home'. There was a voice in her head that didn't help either. The voice called itself Arzil, a body possessing demon.  As a child, her emotions faded away. Because they faded away, she never learned the difference between right and wrong. One day she experienced something she would never learn to forget...

~~Ashome's POV~~

I was walking around the alleyways when I saw a bright light appear from nowhere and voices following it. Growing curious, I had walked towards the source.

I was slightly surprised to see three skeletons. "ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT AU INK?" The short, energetic skeleton asked. It seemed as if the skeleton was ready for battle. His shiny grey armor was only adding to the skeleton's adorable blue theme. "I sure do hope so.. but please do keep it down, we are trying to not be seen." The skeleton, as the other one referred to as "Ink" said. His clothing was a confusing theme, but was one of a sophisticated painter's. "I sense a strong negative aura, this must be the place!" The third said. His color scheme matched his attitude; very bright. "I actually sense a slightly negative aura nearby, do you think its one of his allies?" The bright skeleton spoke again.

Was he talking about me..? Am I really negative..? As I was thinking these things, the skeletons had walked over to my small form. "AWE, ITS SO CUTE, IT CAN'T BE ONE OF HIS ALLIES!" The short one exclaimed as he hugged me tightly. I became scared, not knowing what to do. "She seems confused. What is your name ma'am?" The bright skeleton asked.

I was silent for a bit before holding up my arm: I wrote my name there so I wouldn't forget it. "Ashome, very unique." 'Ink' said. He continued to look at my arm until he spotted the bright mark that had appeared on my arm a few weeks ago. It had caught my eye before, but I never really looked into it. His eye sockets widened as he quickly brought out a book, looking back and forth between the mark and the book. He seemed to be contemplating.

"Dream, we found her." Ink said. Seriousness in his tone. "Is she really the one we're looking for?" The bright skeleton, Dream, replied. Ink answered by showing him my arm. Dream looked surprised at first, but quickly recovered and became excited. "What do you mean by..found me?" I questioned in a weak voice. "You are a very special being called a 'nekojin.'" Ink replied. "I'm a what?" I asked. "You're a nekojin." The skeleton replied. He handed me a golden necklace with a heart locket. I put the locket on and my body tingled a bit. "We'll meet again. Take good care of that necklace. Oh! I almost forgot!" Ink said, handing me the book he had earlier. "You have to protect this, unless you see another nekojin, don't let anyone get their hands on this, okay?" Ink said, to which I nodded and they disappeared. I looked down at the locket again, wondering what's inside. I'll check it out later, I thought. And so, I continued on with my day.
