~~Ashome's POV~~

As I continued on with my day, I seemed to feel connected to the book. I read through it, finding out that the skeletons I met earlier today were only a few of the many 'Sanses'. There was one I was curious about though. Nightmare Sans. He was Dream's brother. As I thought about this, I had run into some.....thing. I try my best to look up and see whatever I ran into, but it disappeared before I could look at it. Now having the feeling of being stared at, I continue to walk back into the shadow filled alleyway. Before I sat down, I could hear movement behind me.

Quickly turning around, I came face-to-face with the skeleton I had only thought about earlier, Nightmare. He was obviously taller than me and looked like he was covered in tar. the tar-like substance covered one of his eyes, the other glowing a bright blue. He dressed like the original Sans, but his clothes were the same shade of black that seemed to cover his entire body. He also had tentacles that were flailing about in every direction. He smiled creepily at me. I kept quiet, not wanting to get myself in any trouble.

"Do you know what I'm here for?" he asked. I shook my head in response. "Book. Now." he declared. "N-no..." I said, keeping quiet. "If you give it to me, there won't be any trouble." he informed. "My answer is no, that's final..." I said. He seemed angry at this as his creepy smile faltered. The locket I had gotten began to glow a light shade of purple as Nightmare lunged a tar-like tentacle at me. I jumped up, avoiding the attack. I held onto the locket, which seemed to activate something as a bright light blocked my vision.

When I could finally see again, I looked....different. I was now wearing a purple tank top, black leggings, a purple coat around my waist, shoulder-length finger-less gloves, and my hair was in a ponytail. Suddenly, a striking pain was felt in my head. Arzil began to speak, and every word got louder and louder until I was no longer in control of my own body. It seemed that Arzil was in control. She smiled creepily at Nightmare before swinging a katana - that appeared out of thin air - at him. Soon enough, I blacked out.

I shot up immediately, feeling pain everywhere. 'I took care of your...issue.' Arzil said. I nodded, remembering what had happened. For now, I have to be more careful, and find out what triggered that light in the locket.....
