Kai And Nya's Past Part One

Thrid Person's POV

Sixteen years ago

Kai is two years old
Nya is a newborn

Kai was playing with his father, Ray, while his mother Maya was putting his baby sister Nya to sleep in her crib. After that, Maya went outside to see them playing. She joined them, Ray was chasing Kai, then Kai would try to hide behind Maya.

After a while of playing, Ray and Maya heard a loud sound from the house. Ray went to see what it was, Maya was holding Kai like the good and protective mother that she was. They then heared Ray scream, Maya told Kai to hide and to stay quiet. Kai, even at a young age he was very clever and could tell that something was wrong.
Instead of hiding like his mother told him to, he sneaked inside the blacksmith shop without being seen.

He went to where Nya's nursery room was, he carefully took his sleeping little sister out of her crib without waking her up and carried her downstairs. But not without grabbing a blanket to cover her tiny body just in case. Once he saw what was happening downstairs he was left shocked, there was a gang of men who were trying to harm his parents. What he didn't was that one of the men was a able to sneak behind him, but before he they were able to do something, Kai stepped back and accidentally stomped on both of the guy's feet.

The guy screamed, which alarmed Ray and Maya."Kai!!!" Maya cried out for her son. Three of the five men were able to get a hold of Maya, Kai, and almost Nya if it wasn't for Kai clinging on to her. The third guy was trying to get Nya but Kai wouldn't let go of her.
At this point Nya was crying from the pain that was being caused by both of Kai and the guy. As if she was a rope in a game of tug of war. Kai could no longer hold Nya, the other guy was to strong for him and he hated that he was part of the reason that Nya was crying, it hurt him to hear her cry.

As the guy was holding a crying baby Nya, he took out a pocket knife from his pocket. He was about to stab Nya, who was barley a month old.

Until......

BAAM

Ray, being the former master of fire he had a very bad temper and seeing his family and his youngest and only daughter triggered him a lot. He tackled the guy to the ground, he would of killed him if only Kai wasn't watching. Ray was a very protective father to his children and a very protective husband to his wife.

Seeing Ray almist kill one of the strongest members of their gang, the gang retreated. Until one of them said...

"This fight hasn't began yet, just wait and see. We will destroy you and you family, every last one of you until there is no one standing. I swear I will kill all of you Scarlett Daryian royals, just like "he" did.

And with that they left

Both Ray and Maya were speechless

No one was supposed to know their secret

Their own children didn't even know, they weren't going to tell them until they were older

But.....

They knew that this attack would force them to have to tell them a lot sooner than they thought

Ever since that day Ray and Maya have been worried about the safety of them and their own children

But what they don't know is that soon would be closer than you think

Hey guys, I was about to make this chapter about the ride between Lloyd and Zane. Instead I thought that maybe giving you a bit of Kai and Nya's Past would be better. In order for you to understand the last chapter better. I will be writing a part 2 two this
