Kai's POV

Lloyd put Skylor, Zane, and me in charge of looking for Nya in the North side of Ninjago. Along with Jay, Cole, and Karloff on the other side of the North

We went left, while they went right

After they left, Zane, Skylor, and I also went in separate directions

Zane went left

Skylor went right

I went straight, in the center

"Nya, where are you?" I muttered as I kept walking

     Time Skip To Two Hours Later

I kept on calling out Nya's name as I walked, looking for her

Finally I was close to being at the end of the North

But I couldn't find Nya

I just kept on walking, but I stopped calling out for Nya, and everything was silent

Until...

As I was walking, I heared the sound of someone stepping on a branch

"Nya?" I said

No response

The sound of foot steps kept on coming

"Who's there? Show yourself" I said

Still no response

"That's it!" I said as I tackled the person to the ground as they were about to come out

But then I heared screaming

"Kai, get off of me!"

"Kai relax, it is only Skylor and I"

Then I looked at the person who I tackled

And it was none other then Skylor, my GIRLFRIEND

I quickly got off her as I said "Skylar, I'm so sorry!"

She stood up and I was quick to check if anything was broken or hurt

"Relax, i'm fine. You're really heavy though." She said as she dust herself off

"Did any of you guys find anything that could lead us to Nya?" I asked

"Sorry Kai, but we found nothing." Zane said

I wanted to cry

I feel like I just failed as a big brother

I didn't protect my sister like I'm supposed to

And now, she's missing

"Kai are you alright?" Skylor asked

I could feel tears streaming down my face

This isn't the first time that this has happened

Now I failed.........again

I felt Skylor hug me as I cried

"Shh, it's okay" she said

"No it's not!" I said as I pushed her away

I could tell that she was taken a back

Zane looked surprised to

"Look we get it, you miss Nya. We miss her to!" Skylor yelled at me

"You don't understand!" I said

"Then what do we not understand Kai? Tell us, how are we supposed to help you if you do not tell us." Zane said

"Look, I know that both of you are very close to Nya. But at least you don't feel like you've failed." I said to them

"Fail? Fail at what?" Skylor asked

"As Nya's older brother, it's my job to protect her. But I've failed so many times at doing that." I said

"Kai do not be so hard on yourself." Zane told me

"But it's true! How many times has Nya been captured or hurt!? Almost every time that we take on a new villian." I said

"Kai, you can't always watch out for Nya. I know that she's your little sister, but she's getting older. There are times that she will get hurt or face something dangerous. But no one here is at fault for her disappearing. Things like this happen, especially to you guys since you guys protect Ninjago. But all I'm saying is that it's not your fault. So don't be so hard on yourself." Skylor said to me as she gave me another hug. As she also pulled Zane in for a group hug eventually

And after a couple of minutes we had to pull apart since Lloyd called us saying that we need to go back to the Air Temple

So we got on our dragons and headed back to the Air Temple, just as Jay, Cole, and Karloff were behind us

But I still couldn't help but think about Nya during the way back

I sighed and thought in my head

"Little sis, where are you?"
