Torturous Betrayal

Chapter 1

Percy's POV

I can't believe I have another brother! this was going to be so much fun! Calm down Perce. Play it cool. After the camp fire I walked up to Nick. "Well it looks like you'll be living with me in cabin 3," I told him. When I looked over at him he had this glint in his eyes like everything was going exactly has he planned. I just didn't worry about it. That was my 1st mistake. My 2nd mistake was letting him meet my friends and family.

3 WEEKS LATER

At fist Nick was fun to have around, but after a while well...... He started blaming me for things that I would never do. I wouldn't have cared what he blamed me for as long as people didn't believe him. But they did. Everyone believed him event friends. The only ones who still talked to me without sounding disappointed and disgusted were Grover,Thalia,Nico,and of course Annabeth. But the only one who was at camp all the time was Annabeth. Grover being The Lord of the Wild he was always gone looking for the last truly we places left on Earth. Thalia was a hunter so she was always gone. Nico was working with his dad in the underworld. But I had Annabeth and honestly that was all I needed.All that I would ever need. I was planning to propose on our 1 year anniversary. (Not sure if that's accurate) I was so nervous! I was going to do it on the beach where we had shared out 1st kiss. I was currently waiting for her in the beach. It was very unusual for her. Made a mental note go and look for her if she didn't show up within the next 5 minutes. So I waited for what felt like a thousand years for an ADHD demigod. After the 5 minutes were up I decided to start my search in the woods. I didn't have to search for very long. I was barely 3 feet into the forest when I heard a moan of pleasure. I figured it was just someone from the Aphrodite cabin. I continued walking in the direction of the noise so I could ask the couple if they had seen Annabeth. I didn't even have to ask. I found her right there. Pressed up against a tree with Nick kissing her passionately. What was worse was that she was returning the kiss with just as much passion. I gasped. Fortunately for me they were to distracted to notice. I turned and ran towards the Athena cabin I knocked and and a little girl answered the door. I asked as politely as I could if I could come in. She opened the door wider to let me in. I rushed went to Annabeth's bunk, layed the box with the ring on the pillow and walked out. After I left the Athena cabin I ran towards mine knowing that it would be empty. I packed a large backpack full of all the stuff I would need. A flask of nectar, ambrosia, an extra set of clothes,mortal money,and drachmas. After I was done packing I turned Riptide into a pen and started writing letters with years in my eyes. I tried to stop them from falling but they just wouldn't stop. Once I was done writing the notes I dropped them of at the Big House. I ran towards Half-Blood Hill. When I was at the peak I turned to look down at the camp. My home. "Goodbye," I whispered in a hoarse voice and I left. For forever.
