I walked back into the throne room and nodded to Zues to show that I was ready to go. He shot me one last smirk and then he flicked his finger lazily and blacked out.
Unknown Location
I wake up chained to the wall. No one is in the room with me that I can see. The room is large with scarce furniture. The walls are made of stone like an old fashioned castle would be. "Hello," I yell, " Is there someone in here? " I was wondering when you where going to wake up," sneered a voice from the shadows, "I was afraid that I was going to have to just begin the party without you and that wouldn't be fun now would it? The voice asked me.
"No, your right. It wouldn't be." I replied sarcastically.
"Why Perseus, there's no need to get snappy. I don't won't to be the bad guy here. I have no intention of hurting you," The voice I assume belongs to Gaia replies. I laugh bitterly at her response to my remark. All that pollution must be getting to her head if she thinks that I'll believe anything she says.
"What are you laughing at?" She asks suspiciously. My response was, " You must be getting really delusional in your old age if you think that I'm stupid enough to believe you when you say you don't want to harm me". In all honesty it probably wasn't the smartest thing to say to an already upset primordial, but I've always had a knack for makeing the immortals angry. It's honestly a surprise I'm not already.
She sneered at me but said nothing. She started walking back and forth in front of the area where I was chained to the wall. "So you want to play that game do you Perseus? We can play that game but it will not end with your victory. You will join my cause soon." She continued walking until she stopped, changed her mind, and started walking in direction. "I admire your loyalty to those who threw you out like yesterday's newspaper," I flinched at that comment, " But I don't understand why your making this so hard on yourself. If you join me now you could not only save yourself a lot of pain, but you could exact the revenge I know you want."
Without another word Gaia left me in the cold, stone room with only my thoughts and memories to keep me company.
Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I had writers block and dance and school. Plus I was trying to write a book on the collabrative account. Look it up its call The Crush. I also had to finish Blood of Olympus. It was awesome but I'll try not to spoil anyone. Toodles.
