My name is Dyllan I'm 16 years old. I think I'm smart but my friends say I'm a nerd. I get relatively good grades so I can go to a good college, where I can get an architect degree.

Then there's my friend Robert. He's a couple years older than me. He likes sports but, instead of playing football all the time, he has a pizza delivery job like a real person. Although, he's still a bit of a copy cat. He's always trying to one up somebody else's stupid stunt, whether it's sports, social situations, or even out baking his grandmother. Although she did grow up in the sixties, so we can never tell if they just mean cookies.

Then there's Andre. That guy he's something else. He makes normal look like a setting on the washing machine. Looking at his house one would think his family is normal. Nice house, nice yard, and nice white picket fence. Inside the house the fluffy carpets are always clean, every cup has a coaster under it, and a nice antique china set on the mantle of the gas run fireplace. The perfect middle class family living the American dream. Which drives Andre batshit insane.

Because of this Andre will do odd things and even illegal things to get away from the normalcy, which Robert absolutely feeds on. Because Andre is always doing strange and interesting things this gives Robert a reason to get up in the morning. With Andre constantly doing new and interesting things it gives Robert things to one up everyday. It's like a one sided competition. Andre just does things to get away. Only Robert tries to compete.

Now one must wonder how I tie into this being a nerdy introvert. It was a bit of an accident really. I was taking a short-cut through the park to get a drink and maybe a snack. And that's when I noticed them. I'd heard around school they did strange and stupid things. Sometimes they drew a crowd but I hadn't been in one of those crowds. On that day they looked like they were on a mission. Call me a stalker but I wasn't that thirsty, and this looked like it might be fun so I followed them.

They walked into a subway tunnel and I lost sight of them. I quickly walked into the station and looked around for them. I don't see them so I get on the train that's about to leave. I look around but they're not there. As the train started moving I heard a couple thuds on the roof. It sounded like boots then I heard something like footsteps. "No, they couldn't be." I thought but I still heard footsteps. So naturally I climbed between the cars and up the maintenance ladder. Once I raised my head above the metal roof I saw them. They're jumping to avoid the metal beams and ducking to avoid the wires. This is cool so I take out my phone and record them. At the next stop they go to climb down the service ladder and spot me.

They looked confused for a moment then they laughed, "Hope he got our good side."

"That was pretty cool. I hope you don't mind if I post this." I say shyly and kick myself mentally for sounding like a nerd.

"Sure just make sure we look like badasses." Said the one I'm pretty sure is Robert.

"I don't care just no High School Musical bullcrap." The taller guy with darker hair said nonchalantly. I figured that was Andre.

"No I wasn't going to- okay." I said being grateful they weren't mad after catching me stalking them red handed. We went our seperate ways and I got my drink before going home.

It was a couple weeks before I saw them again. This time I was meandering around town and I spotted them on a bridge. They're standing on the rail. Looks like they're going to jump. The drop was four stories down to a reletively shallow river.

"Are you guys insane!" I yelled at them. They're either suicidal or stupid or maybe both.

Robert looks over his shoulder at me and grins at Andre , "Hey, our paparazzi's back." Andre grunted affirmatively but continued looking down. "Where's your camera?" Continued Robert, "You want to be the proffesional photographer for the world's next media sensation, dontcha?"

Then without warning Andre raised his arms and fell. Robert spun around and noticed Andre jumped first. "Oh, you son'va bi-" then he was gone too. I freaked thinking I'd just watched a suicide pact in action and ran up to the railing. When I looked over I saw two idiots dangling from tied togther bungee cords with a very pissed off Robert yelling at Andre.

Then they saw me watching them and laughed at my startled face.

Robert looked at Andre, "Bet he shit himself. Probably should have told him what we were doing."

Andre laughs and looks up at me, putting his hands on his hips, "How's my ass look from up there? Got a good angle camera boy?" He asks.

After that they invited me to hang out at Robert's house. They said it was to make sure I didn't die from a mini heart attack, but that was the day our friendship truely began.
