Yoongi
"Where are you taking me?" I asked Jungkook. He had a hold of my hand as he dragged me across the grass of a place I had never been to before. He had drove me out of the city, about forty minutes away, and I had no clue where he was taking me.
He could be kidnapping me for all I knew, and I was just letting him. He suddenly stopped, making me run into him with an 'oof' and as I back away, he runs behind me and puts his large hands over my face and covers my eyes.
"Don't look," He said and started leading the way. I could feel us walk over a small hill before he took off his hand and yelled "tada!"
I open my eyes to see a beautiful sight of our whole city. It was getting late, so the sun was setting perfectly over the city and I looked down to see a blanket and laptop sitting on the ground. My heart skipped a beat as I realized that Jungkook had obviously set this up.
"Why did you bring me here of all people?" I turned around and asked him. He was smiling at me already and grabbed my arm and sat me down next to him on the blanket.
"I wanted to say thanks for introducing Namjoon to my music," He said. "By the way, it went really well. He said he liked my music and..." He trailed his eyes to the city.
"And..?" I questioned.
"And.. I showed him some of your music too. He's going to give us a contract and thirty days to decide whether or not we want the deal." He smiled his famous smile and I smiled back at him. I pushed him onto the blanket.
"Kook, you shouldn't have~" I laughed with him as I poked him repeatedly. "Why couldn't you just take the fame and the offer."
"I did take the offer," He said cheerfully. "But I wanted you to be a part of it as well."
He looked down into my eyes with his dark brown ones and then looked back at the sun. "I used to come here when I wanted to be alone and wanted peace and quiet to myself." He said quietly. I looked at him thoughtfully and then looked at the sunset with him.
"I never really had friends like you have....." He said as he kept the smile on his face. "My friends weren't as caring or loving and they never wanted to know me, but you do. You would care if something happened to me, you don't like to see people unhappy and you don't like when people are hurting even if you yourself is hurting." He said while staring into the sun with pain written across his fake smile.
I looked back at the city as the sun started fading away and leaned my head on Jungkook's shoulder as I hugged my knees. He saw me shivering so he put his arm around me and wrapped a blanket around us both. I closed my eyes and suddenly heard soft music coming from the laptop.
"Thank you." I said softly.
"For what?" Jungkook mumbled into the air.
"For sharing that with me." I snuggled up into him more and then sighed. "You didn't have to, but don't worry.. I'm here to care for you now."
A couple of moments passed before Jungkook stood up, pulling me with him. I opened my eyes in surprise as he started dancing and waving both of our arms in the air.
"I'll be there for you!!" He started singing the friends theme song as we danced. His hair bounced on his head and his smile and star lit eyes were gleaming brightly, making him breathtakingly admirable.
"You're so fun to hang around," I laughed as we both fell onto the blanket once again. "Remind me why I ever hated you?"
"Because you never gave me a chance." Jungkook said as he laid his head on the blanket. I lied to next to him and looked at him with cheerfulness.
"I'm glad that I did now." I smiled.
"Technically," He said as he turned to face me. "Hoseok make you." He smiled back at me. I pushed him away from me and pouted as he laughed lightly.
"This was fun," I said after a while. "But I have work tomorrow and we shouldn't fall asleep outside." I stoop up to leave, causing Jungkook to stand as well.
He picked up the laptop and handed it to me and then grabbed the blankets from the grass. We started walking back to his car to make our way back to our apartments.
——
"Goodnight Yoon," Jungkook said as he waited for me to enter my apartment.
"Goodnight, sleep well." I said back to him with a smile as I closed my door.
I leaned against my door and held my smile there until I heard a sudden cough. "Did he finally kiss you?" Jin said to me, causing my smile to fade away.
"No." I said sternly as I looked back at him.
"Oh," Jin said and then smirked. "So you're not denying that you want him to?"
"Jungkook would never kiss me, we already know that Jinnie." I rolled my eyes and went to sit next to him. He had popcorn on his lap as he watched tv with blankets wrapped around his body.
"He would." Jin said and rolled his eyes back at me. "Don't you remember how scared you were with your first kiss with Jimin? He wasn't your first kiss, but he was your first real kiss."
"What the hell are you saying?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows and stole some of his popcorn.
"I'm saying that maybe Jungkook has never been in love before," He shrugged and looked back at the tv. "Isn't it obvious?"
"What do you mean he's never been in love 'before?' Before what?" I asked him. Jin raises his eyebrows and clicked his tongue, not giving a response before he walked into my room.
I sighed and walked in my room as well and then went over to my bed to sleep, pushing Jin to the side of the bed to give me some room on the bed. Why did I agree to let him sleep in my bed with me?
