Mayor Of Halloween Town x Reader Oneshots/Imagines

(S/o) Being present in the video game would include:

• This would be the Oogie's Revenge video game that takes place a year after the movie.

• Right before Jack leaves to find 'more inspiration' he puts Dr. Finklestein in charge of the town (this is actually in the game).

• (S/o) would secretly be pissed about it since they know The Mayor is more qualified to run the town while Jack is away.

•About a week later everything goes to shit. Oogie starts to take over with little to no protest.

• (S/o) is one of the only people who confronts Oogie about what he is doing. Especially when Oogie starts capturing Holiday leaders.

• (S/o) loses their shit when they can't find The Mayor. Oogie knowing they are in a relationship and is the only person that has been holding them back. (S/o) confronts Oogie and immediately gets into a physical fight. They get close to beating him but are knocked out by a bomb thrown at them.

• (S/o) wakes up chained and caged in the tree located in the graveyard. They try their best to escape but are to weak from the fight to escape. Their best option at the moment is to wait for someone to find and free them.

• They are stuck there for about three weeks. Even though they are not human (or not completely) they get weaker and weaker every passing day.

• And when Jack finds them they pass out in his arms after being freed from the chains and cage. Jack brings them to Dr. Finklestein to be taken care of while he takes the town back from Oogie.

• This would take place on December 23rd.

• After a day (S/o) would still be weak but strong enough to help Jack out. When they find him they scold him for leaving.

• Would probably make Jack take care of most of Oogie's minions on his own since they are too weak to fight anyone at the moment.

• After half a day (Right now it's December 24th) they find The Mayor trapped in a cage on top of his house.

• (S/o) would hold back anger and tears seeing him like this. When Jack and them get inside his house they climb up separate stairways and meet where The Mayor is trapped.

• When The Mayor is freed they immediately hug him and start to cry. Constantly asking if he was okay and if he was hurt in anyway and they were sorry they couldn't get to him sooner and how it was their fault this happened to him and if they did more they could of stopped this from happening and-

• The Mayor would stop them there. And say how none of this was there fault. How they were here because of Oogie and not them. To stop blaming themselves for something they couldn't control. And how we are going to fix this and make it right again.
