I wake up with a horrible headache. I sit up, my stomach doing a backflip and I run into the bathroom. Once done, I flush and brush my teeth. I walk back into the bedroom, Jen still asleep on her little inflatable bed. A cup of water and some pills sat next to my bed, along with a note. I pick up the note, reading it. "HEY! Your was very durnk. Take this! Love, dunk (Y/N)."

"Damn, what happened last night," I think. I sit on my bed trying to recollect my memories, but sadly, nothing. I look up and see the wedding dress hanging in my closet, then look at the clock.

10:30 am

Three and a half hours away.

I slid into the bathroom once again, looking at myself in the mirror this time. I had bags underneath my eyes, makeup smeared across my face. Basically, I look like a wreck. I set down a towel next to the bath and turn on the water. I look at the basket of bath bombs on the counter. 'Maybe later.' I turn off the water and take off my pjs. I slide into the water, and close my eyes.

I got out once I was clean, drying off and wrapping the towel around my body. I comb and part my hair, dry it, and fix it. Next makeup.

"And done," I say to myself.

I study myself in the mirror, making sure everything is perfect. In the middle of me putting in my earrings there's a knock at the door. Jen answers it.

"Yes sir, she's awake.. In the bathroom getting ready... Yes sir, I'll inform her..." And then the door closes.

I peak out of the bathroom. "Is everything alright?"

"The wedding is being pushed back thirty minutes. Red Leader... had some problems." Jen explains.

"Oh, well... Help me into this dress, yeah?"

Everything was done. Thirty minutes until the wedding. I walk the hall to the living room, looking at the walls decorated with pictures. One door was partly cracked, showing two men and a man in a red uniform. I quickly advert my eyes and I hear the door close. I look back at the now closed door and notice the photo hanging up next to it.

It shows a sunny day at a petting zoo, a woman in an orange dress with a bright smile on her face holding a little girl in a yellow sundress feeding the goats. I get closer to the photo, my heels tapping on the floor. I take the picture off the wall and smile. "I wish you were here, mom."

I take the photo with me. I spot someone in the yellow army uniform and call for them. "Soldier?"

They turn around quickly and salute. "Yes, Princess (Y/N)."

"Please place this photograph in the seat next to my father's." I hand them the photo. "And please be very careful."

"Yes Princess." They hurry off as I try to remember who that was. It was either Dan or Phil, but since they're around each other so often it's difficult to tell them apart. Jen comes down the stairs, my engagement ring and bouquet in hand.

"You have to get out of here, Red Leader is about to pass through. Don't want any bad luck, do we?" She winks and pushes me into a nearby room. "Okay, let me warn you-" she hands me my ring "- he was in an accident so he lost his right arm and eye."

"Okay. I'm doing this for my army, for my dad. His looks don't matter, only the amount of trust I can place upon him." I put on the ring and grab the bouquet.

I hear heavy footsteps enter the other room and a man talking.

"Yes sir," he chuckles, "she came into the cottage drunk."

"She waved at us but Pat didn't wave back, the arsehole." Another man says. I feel my face heat up from embarrassment, Jen snickers behind me.

"Well, I saw her last night too." A man with a smooth accent begins. "She seems sweet, very child like. Pat, Paul... She's beautiful. Even with the makeup smeared from where she was crying, crying over the wedding..." He pauses and leans against the door of the room we are in. "I also don't want to scare her with how I look. I want to go back and kill that blue bastard for what he did to me... I.."

I hear him sniffle. He gets off the door. "I have to marry Princess (Y/N) (L/N) for the alliance. I have to gain more territory. I have to protect her. I have to..."

The men exit the room,Jen then looks at you and says, "At least you know he thinks you're beautiful."
