Ambi woke up the next morning to an empty bed. Ambi's body ached from last night festivities. Ambi sat up in bed and smiled. It had been a while since Ambi had encountered some good loving . Piper knew exactly what he was doing in the bedroom, and Ambi loved every moment of it . Ambi knew her and Piper was just fooling around , so she wanted to be careful and not get to attached . Ambi quickly got up , and slipped on her clothes from the night before . Ambi also took Pipers sheets off , and put on fresh clean ones that were in his laundry room. Ambi was grabbing her things , when she felt Piper hugging her from behind .
"Where you think you going ?" Piper whispered in Ambi's ear .
"Dude move, and to hell if I don't pray." Ambi giggled at her own joke .
"Girl you lame as fuck for that one ." Piper turned her body towards his.
"But let me take you out tonight ?" Piper asked .
"No , I will be busy sir ." Ambi said fidgeting with her wrist.
"With what ?" Piper lifted Ambi's chin up with his index finger .
"To be honest with you , I'm trying to find a place to stay, and just clear my head Piper , no I'm not turning you down; but I'm not tryna be in any relationships."
"Who said I wanted to be in a relationship with you." Piper rolled his eyes . Piper low key felt offended, but he wasn't going to let Ambi know that.
"You right Ambi , I forgot I had some stuff to do tonight , so I'll catch up with you later , find your way out ." Piper said irritated brushing his shoulder passed Ambi's.
Ambi just rolled her eyes, fucking rude she thought to herself . As Ambi made her way out of the house her phone beeped , alerting her that she had a text.

Ambi rolled her eyes , and called a Uber . Ambi just wished Ross would leave her the hell alone . Ambi looked at the time on her watch and sighed it was going on 8:00 am and she was going to be late for work. She thought about calling in , but she knew Shaun would fire her. Ambi quickly remembered that piper had bought her two outfits last time she was here and had to be at work. Ambi quickly showered and jumped into her work attire . She could already tell that today was going to be a long day.
"Late again Ambi." The new desk clerk smirked with an raised eyebrow.
"Mind the business that pays you bitch !." Ambi mumbled under her breath.
As soon as Ambi reached her desk, Shaun was standing next to it .
"Goodmorning Mr. Grams ." Ambi smiled but deep down she was shitting bricks .
"My office now ." Shaun stated boldly without hesitation.
Ambi looked around the office at all of her colleagues staring at her, she knew word had gotten out that her and Shaun were seeing each other ; but that honestly wasn't the case.
Ambi closed the door behind herself and took a seat .
"Look Ambi ." Shaun stated .
"Just call me Mrs. Jones ." Ambi rolled her eyes while brushing her hair out of her face .
"For what, I think we are already passed that stage ." Shauns forehead began to crease in the middle .
"No disrespect but can we please just keep our relationship professional." Ambi said growing more annoyed .
Ambi just wished Shaun would forget that he even liked her and everything would go back to normal. She hated that she even got inside of his car the day it was raining .
"Ambi I like you a lot and I want us to continue to see each other and be able to work together. I'm not sure what has gotten in to you , but I'm trying here." Shaun said with pleading eyes.
"Shaun we were never seeing each other , you were helping me get out of a bad relationship, and just giving me a place to stay that's all that it was . Ambi's face scrunched up .
Shaun began to grow angry .
"See Shaun I told you she doesn't love you no one ever will until you admit what you done to me first . Sylvia came and set on Shaun's desk in front of him .
"SHUT UP ! SHUT UP !SHUT UP !" Shaun screamed so loud.
Ambi was so confused they were sitting in silence.
"Shaun are you okay ?" Ambi asked growing afraid .
"Get out of my damn office Ambi and turn in your badge ." Shaun started laughing hysterically.
"What ?" Ambi questioned .
"I said get the he'll out of my office and don't come back ." Shaun stood up from his desk with nothing but rage in his eyes.
Ambi felt the tears form at the bottom of her eyes . She couldn't understand what was happening.
"Shaun please this is my only income ." Ambi exclaimed as the tears began to hit her cheeks.
"GET THE FUCK OUT !." Shaun shouted so loud that everyone looked up from their desk others stood outside of the door to make sure everything was okay .
Ambi stood up and quickly walked out of the door , she wiped her tears she was hurt and extremely embarrassed.
Sylvia laughed . "I'm so glad you got rid of her she wasn't even your type Shaun come on , I mean she could never be me .
Ambi sat outside of Pipers house waiting for him to come home . Ambi was so hurt she was sure that nothing else could ruin her day .
Ambi saw pipers Mercedes Benz pull up in the drive way. To be honest her heart skipped a beat and she couldn't figure out why. We stood up and wiped her tears .
Both car doors opened which cause Ambi to become confused .
Piper closed his Benz door and didn't even crack a smile at Ambi .
Ambi saw a girl close the passenger side and she came closer. When Ambi realized who it was she almost fainted .
"Nicki what are you doing here ?"
"I could ask you the same thing Amb." Nicki boldly folded her arms .
