Chapter 8 -

I woke up by my phone buzzing on my bedside table.

I groaned and wedged myself up with my elbows and lent across my king size bed and lazily grabbed my phone and checked my messages.

Hey Skye start getting ready cause I'm picking u up at 10.00 just to catch up u know have some girlie time we'll go shopping then get a bite to eat then sleepover at yours? text me when u get this - Jess x 

I checked the time on my phone 8.00 am. That gives me enough time.

I text her back.

Yeah sure bring the DVDs and ill get the snacks. See ya soon. - Skye x

I quickly grabbed a shower and got dressed in my black skinny jeans beige high tops and my beige floral dress top and put my black leather jacket on top.

10.05. Jess should be here should be here soon. I decided to grab some toast while I'm waiting.

While I waited for the toast to pop up a saw a black figure behind me. I quickly grabbed the bread knife and spun around pointing the knife but nothing was their.

Beep,I jumped but it was only Jess's car horn from outside I quickly shoved a piece in my moth and grabbed my bag and ran outside and jumped in the passenger seat.

Jessica is a blonde, head cheerleader and always gets invited to the best party's but mostly she is my best friend I'm in the popular crowd as well but not cheerleader popular although I did get invited into to the squad but i cannot do the splits to save my life but once everyone found out I was dating Mark I became one of the top 4.

You see the top 4 is a Senior thing well how it works is the whole year picks the top 4 most populars and me dating Mark got me on that list. The top 4 stick together in a group and the pupils avoid them like the plague its weird really. The 4 are me Jessie, Mark and Drew simple.

"hey" jess said once I buckled in.

"hey my dad and mom are out all week so you can stay until Monday"

"great so guess what"

"what?"

"me and drew hit it off after the party and we started dating isn't that great?"

"its about time, me and Mark was waiting for you two to catch up and realise that you were perfect for each other"

"you knew?"  

"trust me hunny everyone knew"

"you should have told me"

"no that you spoil the fun" 

We laughed.

"so how's things going with you and Mark?"

I wanted to say as long as my boyfriend being a werewolf and attacking me the other night then getting saved by 5 other werewolves counts as a good relationship then everythings absolutely fantastic but obviously that wouldn't work so this is what I said instead "great" that was it.
