Chapter 3 - 

Skye's P.O.V

"Will their be boys at this party?" my dad asked.

"Yes but i will be with Mark at all times" i said 

"I don't trust that boy" my dad said angrily it was true you should have been their when my dad first met Mark, it was so embarrassing...

*Flashback*

"Come on scaredy cat, they wont bite"I said dragging him towards the door of my house.

"What if they dont like me?"

"No I'm sure they'll hate you because your top of the school, Captain of the soccer team, getting a scholarship to Stanford oh and yeah i forgot, your a total hot-tie!" i said wrapping my had around his waist.

"Your not to bad yourself!" 

Me and Mark have been dating for about 2 months around this time and i was the photographer for the newspaper and he hit on me at a game and i guess we started dating. He was a really sweet guy he wasn't the typical jock but he certainly looked like one. 

"Come on, I'm sure they'll love you" i said cheesy while i pulled on his arm towards the door while he starred closer to me and faced me while at the door.

"Do you?" he said while stroking my hair behind my ear.

"Do i what?" i said softly.

"Love me" he said seriously looking into my eyes for an answer.

"Of course" i said leaning up and kissing him softly.

"Uhm" a voice came from inside the house, my dad.

"Oh my -" i said hiding my head in Mark's chest.

"You must be Mark" my mum said from behind my dad "come inside" she said while my dad gave dirty looks to mark while Mark shuffled into the house while i followed behind glaring at dad while he held the door open.

"Dad, mom this is Mark, my boyfriend!"

"Hi Mark Skye has told us plenty about you" my mom said and made me blush.

"Has she now" Mark said grining while he wrapped his had around my waist lightly.

"Come on threw, diners ready" Mom said leading us threw to the dinning room where the food was laid out.

"So what are your plans for the future Mark!" My dad said while cutting up some beef.

"Well last game we had some scouts came over to watch the game and i got a scholarship to Standford to study sports their" he said while shoving a roast potato in his mouth.

"Oh Stanford well did you know that Skye will be going to Princeton which is on the other side of the state so-"

"Dad!"

"I'm just saying how do you know that he will be loyal and wont be seeing other women cause your not their"

"Dad " i moaned.

"It's ok" Mark said holding my hand "Yes sir i get where your coming from but i love Skye and i would'nt dream of hurting her!" he said holding my hand tighter and the words he said made me smile.

"Good choice" my dad said which made Mark i bit nervous

"Skye come help me with the dishes" my mom said but i couldn't leave Mark and Dad alone.
