Chapter 4

I get home and my mum comes out of the kitchen as soon as I've gotten to the bathroom. "Aiko," mum calls "are you ok?"

I reply "Yeah."

"ok tea will be ready soon don't forget to wash your hands."

Oh I will wash my hands all right. I fall to the floor and cry. I look and my hands covered with the evidence of my wrong doing. I stand up and scrub as hard as I can trying to erase it all. My tears are streaming down my face onto my hands. I look into the mirror and my face is also covered in blood. Omg what are people in the streets going to think and say. I wash my hands and my face once they're clean. I come downstairs and eat. Chicken. " How was your day sweetie?" mum asked. She's the kind type and loves me no matter what. But if she realized I've murdered someone she would never forgive me. "ok I guess, thanks for asking." I reply. Just as I go to put a piece of chicken into my mouth my mum leans over and licks her finger to clean something off of my face. I jump up and run away. My knife and fork clatter to the floor and I can feel my mums surprise radiating from the dining room. I run up to my room and lock the door. I look in the mirror and realize that my mum was only trying to wipe some gravy off my face. I fall to my knees and cry in relief. Five minutes later I get up and sit on my bed and decide to text Kaito. It reads: hey, do you wanna go to karaoke tomorrow? Sent. He replies two minutes later saying: sorry can't. maybe another time. :) I ask why and he replies with "date with Aia."

That bitch. I could kill her. Oh. Wait. I already have. For the first time in years I smiled. Not a nice happy smile, an evil grin. I decide to text him again telling him: " meet me at the karaoke place at 4. I have a feeling Aia won't come." As I hit send I laugh. A blood curdling laugh that sent shivers down my spine.
