Sam's POV

I began to patch up other people of Wonkru. After a night of them creating a shield around Octavia in a sandstorm that cut like glass, many of them had injuries consisting of cuts along their backs and shoulders.

Some wounds were just fine after I had cleaned them, other required sutures and bandages. In Indra's case. Not so much.

Her breathing was uneven as there was most likely glass that filled her lungs. Octavia commanded Copper to sound the retreat so we could get the injured back to Polis.

"Let me see that arm." I said, motioning for Octavia to show me her wound. She rolled to the side a little, so I could get a good grip on it. I looked under the bandage for any signs of damage. "Damage to the muscle should be minimal, but we'll know more in a few days."

Octavia nodded. "Thank you for saving my life."

I nodded as well. "Your my sister. I would do anything for you." Octavia smiled and I returned it. Holding tightly onto her hand.

"You saved our life." Bellamy joined in, kneeling beside me. "You were right. Wonkru is strong. Just like their leader."

Octavia sat up, with a little help from me and looked into the eyes of her brother. "I'm glad you're alive, big brother." She placed a kiss on his cheek and brought him in tightly for a hug. "But if you ever speak out against Wonkru again, then you are an enemy of Wonkru. And you are my enemy."

Octavia laid back in her position as a vehicle approached us. People shouted, trying to get it to stop. When it did, weapons were pointed at it. Waiting to see who would climb out.

Madi exited the drivers door. She looked happily at Clarke before they both took off running, meeting each other in the middle.

They hugged each other tightly. Soon others exited. My eyes widened at Monty. His hair was short and he looked different. He smiled at me and I smiled back. We ran, much like Madi and Clarke did and hugged tightly.

"You're back!" I exclaimed. Pulling back from the hug to look at him.

"We all are." Monty said smiling, as Harper climbed it too. She could barely put her foot on the ground before I was hugging her tightly.

When we pulled back I looked towards Bellamy who was giving an awkward and uncomfortable hug to Echo.

"What's with that?" I questioned towards Harper. They both pulled away and stepped back from each other.

Harper sighed. "A lot happened up there." My eyes widened as I feared the worst. "Not that. Bellamy wouldn't do that to you or your daughter." I sighed in relief. "But it would be better if he told you." I nodded, still quiet anxious.

Bellamy joined my side, kissing my forehead before hugging his friends as well.

As everyone began to settle down and talk with others that they have not seen in a while. I decided that now would be as good a time as any to talk to Bellamy.

"So..." I started. Bellamy looked towards me and placed his hands on his hips. "What happened with you and Echo?"

He looked down at his feet and bit onto his lip. "Nothing like that. I promise. She wanted something to happen between us and I didn't. I couldn't do that to you."

I nodded and stepped closer. Rubbing his arms comfortingly.

"She would try to get with me for months on end. Finally one day, I just snapped. I said some things. She said some things back and it just became uncomfortable between us. But I promise." He lifted my chin to look into my eyes. "Nothing happened between us."

I nodded. I trusted him. I mean, we were apart 6 years. I would expect something like this to happen. Bellamy smiled at me while his palms gently rested on my cheeks. He placed a gentle and passionate kiss on my lips.

Once he pulled away, he pulled me tightly to his chest. While we hugged, I could see Echo looking at us from far away. She looked upset and angry.

I decided though, not to bring it up. I didn't want to deal with this right now. All I wanted was to be with my friends, my family, and my husband.
