I've Missed You -Nick Torres NCIS [ON HOLD]

It's been awhile

                     For Liliana being apart from Nick was not easy by any means. She always dreaded leaving but she knew she had to do it. For her being a Marine wasn't just some title, it was her life. Growing up she never knew what she wanted to do after high school until she spoke with a recruiter. 

     ~ Liliana's pov~

As I was getting off the plane a young girl, no older than 6, stopped to look at me. She tugged her mom over to me and said "WOW! You look like a super hero! Are you one?"  that made me smile and crouch down to her level, "haha no I'm not, I'm a Marine. My name is Lily, what's your name sweetie?" I asked her "My names Gracie. You have a very pretty name" she said. I looked at her and my heart swelled at her "Why thank you Gracie, you have a very beautiful name for a beautiful girl." she smiled so big and bright "Thank you, I wanna be just like you one day." I smiled at her and looked at my watch and said to her "Well Gracie it was very nice meeting you but I have to go now. Bye!" she smiled and waved at me as I got back up and grabbed my bags and walked out to go find my ride. "Lily!" I heard from an oh so familiar voice, I turned around so quickly and caught sight of my handsome husband running towards and and I couldn't help but run towards him as I haven't seen him in 9 months. "Nick!" when we got to each other we both engulfed one another in a massive hug, after we stood there and hugged for a solid minute we both pulled apart and shared a passionate kiss. After we pulled apart we just smiled at each other, I was the first to speak "Holy shit I've missed you so fucking much Nick" I started to get choked up and he saw that and said "Lil's I've missed you so much too baby girl, I was going crazy without you"  I smiled up at my husband and I said "I love you, I'm not going anywhere". We joined hands and I went to grab my bags but Nick grabbed them before I could "Nick! I'm very capable of carrying my own bags!" I protested, but he wasn't having any of it. He looked at me and smiled and continued walking and I eventually gave in and walked along side him. After we got to the car and loaded my bags in the trunk we were ready to go meet up with the team. He looked over at me and asked "Are you ready to see the team, Director?" I looked straight ahead as I said "Yes I am, who took over while I was gone?" "His name is Bryan and he was pretty cool" he told me. After that it was comfortable silence between us the rest of the ride back to headquarters.

Hey everyone I truly am sorry for not uploading sooner, school has been so chaotic and I've been so stressed that I forgot about this story. There will be more updates to come in the near future. Until then, I hope you all enjoy this filler chapter! :)
