SOPHIA: (begins to focus camera manually as she mumbles to herself) I don't even know why I'm doing this... (camera is finally in focus. places hands in lap) Well uh, hi. I-i'm really not sure what to say...or should I say what I want to say. (pauses) I guess I want to say that my life is changing. Alot. Mom and Dad must have gotten sick of paying for my microwavable mac and cheese and my Netflix bill, so they've decided to ship me off. And no, not to college. They're making me become a sciene experiment. (stiffles a sarcastic laugh) Or as the 'experts' say, a 'social experiment'. (applys air quotations around experts and social experiment). But from what I've been told, they might as well jab me with tools like a science experiment, cause I don't want to live through this experiment. (spaces out as she plays with the hem of her shirt. there is a moment of silence before she finally speaks again). The experiment is called Married at First Sight. Basically, I'm not going to see the person I marry until my actually wedding day. Which is... two weeks from now. I don't know a darn thing about this guy, if it even is a guy... (shakes her head, tear begining to brim her eyes). You know, I always imagined my wedding would be a little more... I don't know, expected? I mean I just found out about this 2 days ago. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it. (wipes her eyes quickly, letting out a watery giggle) I mean what if this guy is a serial killer? Or steals candy from babies? Or even worse, has a full on mustache? I'd be married to santa claus! (begins to smile, her mood lightening up). Wow, this video is absolute crap. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore... (a beep sound is heard). Oh crap, my camera's dying. Ok well uh, I better make this fast. Um... why is it when you really need to say something, you have nothing to say? It's like all of a sudden your tongue is tied and your words are mush... Oh wait, now I know what to say! I- (shouts, reaching for the camera as it begins to shut off) NO!
A/N: This was inspired by the show "Married at First Sight". I love this show so much, so I felt like writing a book about it only seemed appropriate. I have never written in this script style before but JeddieJay inspired me to do it. I'm really liking it so far. Anyways, Vote, Comment, and Fan. See you in the next update c:
