Chapter 2

Camile's POV:

It was Nash.

"Why did you take me up here?" I asked.

"I have to tell you something. This may ruin my friendship with Shawn, but I need to tell you this." He said. I looked at him confused. Nash was my very best friend beside Shawn. He knew I liked Shawn. What?

"Shawn likes you." After he said that all the boys ran in.

"What were you doing in here? Making out?" Taylor asked. Shawn suddenly had a flush of jealousy enter his face. He did like me. Wow.

"No! I was just asking her if she could babysit Skylynn." Nash said. They all just shrugged. We walked back down to the TV room, and plopped onto the couch. Soon after that I fell asleep.

I woke up and decided I was gonna go home.

"Bye." I said. They all waved and I walked into the cold night air of Autumn. It was nice though, really nice.

I unlocked my door to my house. My parents were sitting on the couch, watching TV.

"Hey Camile. We have to tell you something. I walked over to them and sat on the couch.

"Your moving. To Arizona." My dad said. No no no.

"NO!" I screamed. We couldn't be moving! I just found out I might have a chance with my best friend and my crush, and now I might not even be able to see in him again. Tears were rolling down my cheeks.

"We leave in a week." My mom said.

"NO! I CAN'T JUST LEAVE MY FRIENDS! I CAN'T JUST LEAVE SHAWN FOREVER! HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF MY FEELINGS? OBVIOUSLY NOT!" I yelled at them. This couldn't be happening. Not to me. This has to be a dream. But I don't believe stuff this horrible would happen. Why why why?! Why me God?! Why do you pick me to have the miserable life. Wait. Did my mom say "we" and my dad say "you"?

"Are you two divorcing?" I still had tears in my eyes and new ones were forming.

They both got up and walked over to me. Your dad will stay here in California, and we will got to Arizona." My mom explained.

"Mom! Then I can stay with dad!" i screamed. My mother looked hurt. I instantly felt guilty. Her eyes were full of tears.

"Mom..." I said.

"No if you wanna stay with dad and be with your friends, it's okay. I'll go." She looked at me. I nodded an hugged my mother. I didn't want her to go but I didn't want to go either. This is gonna be hard without a mother, but I will manage. Hopefully....
