She failed to fail
At taking her life
At slitting her wrists
At leaving her friends
At chopping off her hair
But she did it all when she thought no one would care
Their backs all facing her
She didn't dare
Tell them it hurt
That she didn't want to go
That she wanted someone to save her
They failed to fail
At not seeing that it was all fake
At letting her go
At moving on so quickly
We all fail to fail sometimes
Just choose the right days
