I'm drowning
No matter how hard I
Try to ignore it
I'm drowning
I hoped you would notice
As soon as I knew
I tried to stop this
Façade
Right in its tracks
But alas I was
Too late
And you, mate
Hadn't noticed
Though my natural defense
Is weak
It's strong enough not to be opaque
