- This is a topic I won't feel bad for speaking out about. This is also not meant to change anyone's belief on anything and anyone. This is strictly my thoughts on religion. Feel free to give me your thoughts in the comments. Please no hate. You will be ignored most likely because I feel as thought I am being attacked by ignorant close-minded people -

People ask my thoughts on God and church and the morals religion has for me. I believe there is a higher power but I hate that there are people out there that try so fucking hard to put their beliefs onto you. Lemme break this down. I don't want to feel like I should stay away from sex until marriage because what if someone was raped? They lost their virginity without asking for it. Is it still a sin? What about being part of the LGBTQ+ community? If god loves all of his kids, why is that particular community excluded? Isn't that just inequality? That's the same thing that everyone across the world is trying to rid. I am slightly scared to speak up about my religious beliefs around family mostly because in my household, everything is either one, or the other. If I am not a believer, I have to leave but i'm more than welcome to stay if I pray every night, rely on a god 100% with my life, and keep my ego lower than any other human being

Because "god" says so

Now, I feel like I don't want to be part of a certain religion mostly because like-- Think about it like this. There are cults (I know it's weird to say but hear me out) that believe in completely different things. They all say "Because God says so" or "It's part of our bible" and "You're going to hell for such a sin". I think it's more of "Because I say so" because unless someone has hard valid evidence that God says the things churches teaches us, I refuse to follow those rules. Tying back to the cult thing and the bible, there are SOOO MANY BIBLES OUT THERE. I mean, just go onto Amazon and search up bibles and go to different bookstores. There's millions out there that develop and change over time that were made by people who write what they feel like people should be doing and publishing it out there and targeting religions to read their books.
