Damnnnn these chapters are going on for a while now.

I'll like to apologize for that it seems my updating schedule is out of sync with my school schedule.

Anyway this will be most likely the last chapter of Extras. If not T_T

Authors POV

People scattered around the office cubicles, reapers yelped in both confusion and fear. What in world was happening? It seemed (M/N) lost himself again to his dark, fuming emotions. The ones that nearly caused the human race to cease.

(M/N) stalked to Life, scythe in had, "Why should I stop, why life, why?" (M/N) growled out as black shadows danced around him dangerously.

"Because you fell in love with one." Life loudly said. "You loved him; didn't you." (M/N)'s face distorted to one of evil nature.

"I love him still, I still love him Life, but Humans are weak, they show no hurt or mercy to those of their kind. They are disgustingly vile creatures." (M/N) yelled out, the shadows that danced around him changed drastically to his emotions, twisting and turning heartache, sadness and to rage.

Life lowered her weapon down slightly she opened her mouth and began to speak, "Why do you still love him Death? He's dead, he will never come back. Why do you-" Life was stopped in mid sentence.

Death stopped her, his eyes shifted to a dark ominous color, a color that could only be known as demonic. The shadows that had surrounded Death expanded around the room, they glided like waves clashing against the hard surfaces of rock faces.

"How dare you speak about him that way." Death spat out as he took dramatic long steps to Life. "How dare you even think about him." Deaths voice wavered into something deeper and darker with each word. "How dare you, Life." He stood nor more than a meter away from her.

Life stared at Death with cold dead eyes. "How dare I?" Life asked, "You couldn't even look after your human. He died because of you." Life seethed out as she ran up to Death and swung her weapon at him, the sound of metal clashed against one and another.

Death growled and stared right at Life's face, a glint of sympathy was displayed in Life's eyes. "He didn't die because of me. He didn't fucking die because of me." Death muttered as he swung his scythe to Life's face.

"Oh, but he did, because of you, he died, it was your carelessness that lead him to that death." Life said as she swung to Deaths right side, the blade barely grazed him as he managed to turn away.

"What do you mean it was my carelessness?!" Death argued as he kicked Life off her feet and slammed his foot on her stomach.

Death leaned in, "What did you mean when you said he died because of my carelessness?!" Deaths shadows danced around him and moved close against Life, the shadows whispered and murmured to Life, telling her about their deaths. As the shadows leaned closer in they cut her body slightly.

"Explain to me Li-" Life kicked Death away from her and got up, she smiled, however this smile she wore portrayed her true nature. "I'll explain to you but drop your weapon Death and give it to me."

Death growled lowly as he threw his weapon onto the ground and kicked it to her. "Now explain to me Life."

Life stopped smiling and looked at him a hint of maliciousness curving off her eyes. "War and I planned the entire massacre, we planned on killing your beloved human. He made you weak Death." Life said as she gestured to him, "He made you weak and you know it."

A small chuckle came out of the perfect lips of Death, the small chuckle increased in volume until Death was holding the side of his head to keep him steady. Life stared at Death, a small chill creeped down her spine as she watched the crazed shinagami laugh away.

"What's so funny?" Life asked as she gripped her weapon tightly. (M/N) continued to laugh, the shadows hiked up and down from the different tones that were coming out at the same time.

Death didn't respond and continued to laugh, the shadows around him burst out with small laughs, the laughs were haunting, the sounds similar to a child's.

Death stopped laugh and stared at Life, "It seems we have a eavesdropper." Death said as the shadows opened up the closed door. Life turned around, eyes widen with fear of who it was.

William stood there, eyes widened as well by what he heard through the door. "Even if I die, I won't let you touch him. He will tell everyone about the things you've done." Death whispered as he managed to get close against to Life.

Life yelled, "How couldn't I sense him?!"

Death snickered, "Because I had him hidden within my shadows, he wouldn't have noticed though because I made sure they didn't touch him." Death whispered in her ear. 

Lifes eye twitched in anger, "How dare you Death! How dare you ruin everything." Life twisted her body around and pushed her weapon in Deaths chest, but before she she could draw blood, Death shoved his hand in her chest, his whole arm protruded out of her body to the other side, William stood wide eyed by the scene.

"Heh, seems like I got you Life." Death muttered as his head stooped down, blood dripped down his mouth.

"I can't... not now... not now." Life whimpered as she felt the gap between her chest. The two supernaturals slowly began to lose there life energy.

William stood at the door, shocked by what he witnessed. "(M-M/N)!" William whispered as he ran towards the (H/C) haired male, (M/N) looked up and gave a weak smile. 

"What's wrong William?" (M/N) asked as he shifted himself to look at the other reaper.

"Y-You're bleeding, aren't you worried about your health?" William asked voice wavering.

"I'll be fine, I think. It doesn't hurt if you're wondering." (M/N) said as he laughed, blood seeping out of the males lips.

"W-What about Life?" (M/N) growled at the males words. 

"She'll find her way back soon, just go the the big bosses, tell them what happened." (M/N) said, "Oh and buddy, come here for a second, I need to tell you something." 

William complied and leaned in, "Tell Ciel and Sebastian I won't be there for awhile okay?" (M/N) muttered.

William had slightly hoped the (H/C) haired male would off kissed him but sighed inside. "Goodbye (M/N)." William said as he turned away and opened a portal with his reaper scythe.

Williams portal closed and (M/N) legs gave out causing him to collapse on the floor. 'How long has time passed my being? How long have I lived? It seems I now know the truth, after all these years, I finally know. Life will come back, fuelled with a panic and hatred and in that I hope she crumbles and falls apart.' (M/N) thought as he reached for his scythe, the male gripped it and felt the blade between his fingers. 

"Life?" 

"Life, time has passed my being, it almost seems it revolves around me. It hurts me, I wish to die, but I know even if not now but soon, I'll have to go through the same insanity over and over again."

Death sighed out and felt himself drift off to a dreamless sleep, he knew that he would come back, whether than wanting to fight the fact, he would this time embrace it. After all; these type of supernaturals never die, they live in an endless paradox, an evil curse they call it but by others a god like blessing.

Holy shit, did that fuck with my mind for a bit. If you have any questions about this chapter I will answer it, it was a bit confusing but if you caught on to it, good on you, you can ask me if you're right or wrong and just give some theories on what is going on.
