Destinys POV
Colby carries me upstairs like a baby and once we reached his room there was a loud bang downstairs as I flinched and started crying "C-Colby w-Who w-was ever outs-side I-i-i think there inside" I say trying not to talk too loud "Hey baby girl as long as you're with me you're safe whoever is down there I will not them lay a hand on you I promise" he said so softly it calmed me down a bit "I'm gonna go see who it is okay?" Colby said asking me if it was okay "Colby p-please don't what if you get hurt?" I said hugging him very tightly "I rather me get hurt then you Destin-" he got cut off by hearing footsteps come up stairs so Colby set me down on the bed locked the fort and moved his couch in front of the door
Colby POV
I had locked the door and out the couch in front of the door I looked over as she was squeezing one of my pillows an I had a bad feeling that this person was Jake (her ex)
As I walked over and sat down on the bed she crawled over and sat on my lap facing me with her head on my shoulder " Hey princess don't be afraid I'm her with you and as long as I'm near I will make sure you don't get hurt, okay," I said had rubbing her back and all she could do was not

"Colby we need to-" the foot steps got louder and before when know it someone was banging on the and I was silent crying in Colby shoulder as he hugged me tight "hey baby look here" why does he have nicknames for me that are cute as I look up he leans in and kisses me "everything is gonna be alright I promise" Colby kissed me as I grabbed my phone dialed 911
*time skip to where the police were here*
