The girl peacefully awoke with a smile, until she remembered what had happened last night. She ran into her bathroom to freshen up and put some dry clothes on. April slowly walked out of her room and as she passed her sister's she saw him cuddled up with her, it broke her heart when she saw them together.
She quickly ran down the stairs to grab her school bag and heard a car pull up outside, she smiled for the first time that morning, knowing she can get away from them before she sees them at school.
April runs out of the house and sees her best friend in her car, they had been friends since they were 5 an tell each everything. Their friendship is important to April because she hasn't got many friends now because her boyfriend left her for her popular, perfect sister. She can't forget.
They arrive at school and walk to their lockers.
"So, on Friday there's this massive party." Clara looks at the girl in front of her.
"Who's party is it?"
"Someone on the football team."
"That means my sister and him will be there, so no thanks." She sarcastically smiles at Clara.
"Oh come on, don't let it ruin your life, pretend it never happened and then he'll probably get jealous or tell you why he did it-" Clara pleads, before being cut off.
"Stop talking about it. I'll go if you don't ask me to forget about it again." April warns the smaller girl.
"YAY, thank you so much April" She exclaims, giving her a hug. April sighs, knowing there'll be trouble,
