TEARS slowly streamed down her face as she wiped them away, ruining her makeup. She looked out of the car window, rain splashing into it.

"Just because he broke up with you doesn't mean you can't go to the dance. We could go together instead." Clara, the girl's bestfriend pleads, still holding the ruined dress.

"No, there's no point going and I don't want to see the love of my life with my fucking twin sister!" April sobs, even more tears flooding her face.

2 Weeks prior April's boyfriend of 3 years broke up with her for her twin sister. She was, well is heartbroken as they had been dating since they were 14, what makes it even worse is that her sister isn't guilty, nor are her parents, in fact her parents approve of it.

The car finally stops outside of her house and she gets out, slamming the door and waving at Clara, she jogs up to the front door to get out of the rainy night. She gets up to the door about to open it, but someone opens it seconds before her and bumps right into her, she looks up, eyes widening.

He was right in front of her.

They stare at each other until Natalie, April's sister, walks in front of the boy and speaks up.

"Oh hey April." April ignores her sister pushing past both of them and running up to her room. She jumps onto her bed crying hysterically, slowly falling asleep in her wet clothes.
