I immediately logged in and prepared my room for my class the moment I arrived in the office.

I quickly run through the deck and planned for my transitions for my facilitation. I imagined how I'm going to deliver it in front of my class at the same time challenged myself with possible questions that may be raised.

I'm not worried nor nervous because I've done this so many times before. I even created the module myself.

Well, I guess, I just want to be ready so I can present it way better than the last time. To constantly improve is my goal!

Being a trainer is not easy. You really need to be passionate about it. You meet new people and help develop them. You make sure they are ready to start their journey with the company.

I honestly didn't imagine myself doing it at first, but when I started it, man! I was addicted to it.

It's amazing how this role helped me build a good network of people. Knowing their stories - their triumphs and downfalls made me understand life even more.

Some have inspiring stories that fueled the fire in me of wanting to become a better person.

Being a trainer is not just about sharing your knowledge and seeing the trainees succeed. For me, it's also about the connection we developed, that even if they are no longer with the company, you can still keep the friendship.

A lot of people would often ask me what do I get out of it, it's simply - the love and respect from the people. That's what makes it worth it despite the difficulties.

Life isn't about how high your salary is nor the material things you own. It's about the people whom you've influenced and encouraged to become their best version.

My reward is whenever I hear someone tells me how I helped them even in small things and that I was part of their growth. This would usually make me cry, thinking that I might have done something so good to deserve it.

My trainees greeted me as they entered the room. I smiled and said, "Good morning!"

Time check: 6:45 in the morning.

I stood up and went out of the room to get some water.

"May lakad ka mamaya?" Shane asked me when we met inside the pantry.

"Naku, oo eh! May date ako eh..." I answered.

"Sayang, ayain sana kita magjamming eh! Tagal na since last time na tumugtog ka kasama namin." Shane continued.

"Sorry tol, bawi na lang ako next time. Nakakamiss na nga eh! Hindi lang kasi talaga ako pwedeng malate eh." I explained.

"Okay lang! Enjoy your date..." Shane said before waving goodbye.

I went back to my room.

"How's everyone?" I asked the class as soon as I opened the door.

My trainees and I were having a good catch-up when my alarm suddenly went on. I excused myself and took my phone.

Time check: 7:00 in the morning. Time to call B and wake her up so she can get ready to go to work.

****RING****

"Good morning!" I happily greeted the person on the other line.

"Good morning..." She replied sleepily.

"Time to wake up! Baka malate ka sa office B..." I told her.

"5 minutes pa please..." She said softly.

"Alright, I'll call you back, but I have a class okay? Alam mo na yun..." I said before I ended the call.

I set the alarm for it to ring after 5 minutes. I then went in front of the class to start the training.

"Let's have a quick recap of the topics discussed yesterday..." I said to formally start the session.

We started our discussion but moments later, my alarm sounded again. I then excused myself, went to my phone and auto dialed B's number. I left it on top of my desk while I continued my facilitation.

It was a good session. It went on smoothly as planned. I dismissed them after roughly 2 hours for us to take the first break.

I went to sit in front of my laptop to start with the draft of my report. After a few minutes of typing and clicking, I finished my coffee and checked my phone.

No messages.

I dialed B's number.

****RING****

"Hey!" I greeted her when she accepted the call.

"Busy?" I asked.

"Paalis pa lang ako sa bahay eh... Late na ako!" She answered hurriedly.

"Hahatid ka ng papa mo?" I asked.

"Oo." She plainly replied.

"Okay... Ingat kayo... Message me once nasa office ka na ha?" I told her.

"Sige." She answered and hang up.

I put my phone down and continued working on my draft. A few minutes later, the break is done and so I continued our discussion.

I sent the class to lunch at around 11:30 AM. I checked my phone to see if there's any message. Before planning to go on lunch.

I got 3 messages. I was excited to see if it was from the person I love. I didn't get disappointed as I saw her name the moment I reached my inbox.
