I looked at dark as I waited for his response. He was taking his time deciding, he looked conflicted.

"I.......can... can I spend time with you?"

"What?"

"....p...please. I don't want sex or anything like that but ...but please I want to spend time with you. Talk to you. I just..... i just want to hold you and pretend everything's ok for a little while."

"That's a lot ta ask fer dark"

"Please. Please you said I've been good. I.. I did all as you said earlier today and went that and you said I did well with my farther so please can ....can we just spend a bit of time together, be peaceful."
Dark looked down. If he was actually a dog then his ears would be flat against his head and his tail between his legs. I thought for a moment about his request, I honestly thought it would be something more physical so this took me by surprise that he wanted something more soft and emotional. I sighed and looked at him.

"Ok fine we'll do that then. But let's do it tomorrow. I have some stuff ta finish and then I'm going ta bed. Ya should eat before going ta bed as well. Yer gettin a little thin."
Dark smiled and nodded. I left and headed up to my room. Once there I grabbed my just about working phone and called jj.

"Hey jj stopped bein an arse?"

"Glitch where have you been? We missed a massive client because of you."

"No ya didn't. His son was pissin about and now his dads saw him. Soon ya will hear the hunts called off and shits fine."

"How do you even know this?"

"I'll know more then ya could ever imagine"

"Fine but look did you listen to my voice mails? I am sorry about what happened. I want try anything like that again. I swear."

"Fine. Look though if any jobs come up after tomorrow then call me. I'm busy tomorrow but after that I'm down. I'm gettin bored anyway."

"Why whats tomorrow?"

"Nothing I just have the day booked tomorrow fer other shit"

"Alright then. I'll call you a decent job comes through. See you then"

"Yeh see ya"
I hung up and put the phone down. I looked at my black computer screen and just got up and flopped on my bed. I curled up and wrapped myself up and preceded to spend the rest of the day and night on my phone, not getting a wink of sleep.

By the time morning had came I could feel regret bubbling up. Dark would be awake soon. Since he wanted a peaceful day I didn't give him any chores to do or certain clothes to wear. Soon enough I got out of bed and headed downstairs to make myself some coffee. I put the kettle to boil and I watched it. I heard darks footsteps upstairs and I heard him come down and get closer to me until he was behind me. He stopped for a moment and then he wrapped his arms around me. I didn't flinch because I knew it was him. Dark hugged me from behind.

"Can ya wait till I at least have my coffee"

"Fiiiinnee."
Dark let go off me and I finished making my coffee and sat down to drink it. Dark started to make some breakfast.

"Did you sleep last night?"

"Why?"

"Sometimes I notice you don't sleep"

"I slept fine dog"

"Can you not call me that today?"

"Fine whatever"

"Have you ate?"

"I'm not hungry to"
Dark looked down and nodded. He was trying but I didn't really want to do this. Dark had made some cereal and started to eat it. It was silent between us until he broke it.

"Soo.... how old are you?"
I looked at him for a moment before answering.

"192"
Dark choked on his cereal and looked at me as he tried to sort himself out.

"192?"

"Yeh... apparently. I don't know if I have a birth certificate but that's how old I'm meant to be"

"Fuck. I thought you just looked young. I didn't think you were actually that young. That fucking messed up."

"You?"

"Dam. I'm 207. That means Jacob had you when you were 150. Fuck. If I knew you were that young..."

"Don't day that name here. I don't appreciate it."

"Sorry."
I finished my coffee and dark had finished his food. I got up and went to the sofa and dark who I noticed was just wearing some pyjamas followed me and sat beside me.

"I want to get to know you...."

"Why I'm not that interesting dark"

"Yes you are. Your the most interesting thing I've ever known."

"You've had a boring life then"

"Hardly. You just don't get out enough"

"I'd still watch what your saying dark"

"Fine......so what were your parents like? Like will said they must of been some sort of messed up to make you like the way you are unfortunately."

"I never had parents"
