The Reset

Nightmare

Nightmare's POV 

A soft golden glow shimmered in front of my face. A reset button? It resets to after the birthday party, perfect time. I think long and hard before deciding to do it. This will fix everything but sadly I think I will be the only one who remembers, guess it Is better that way.

I slam my fist on the button and everything around me starts to change. 

~time travel to before when Nightmare sees Cross and Dream kissing~

I slam the door open once again and see Dream and Cross kissing, this time I don't run. I remember all of this so I stay still. "Is there something going on here?". I see Dream panic, "It isn't what it looks like! Cross forced me and-".  I sigh, "I know, its okay, I forgive you". Dream seemed shocked but he ran over to me and French kissed me.

At least he is happy.

Dream's POV 

I French kissed Nightmare and I cry happy tears. He is such a good boyfriend, he believes me and forgives me! " I thought you were going to run away and I got scared, who knew what would have happened!". Nightmare freezes.

"Nighty?". He shake his head and cups my cheek with his hand. I blush golden. We both leave the room and we kick Cross out of our house, he will never return. Nightmare sits me down and goes a serious face. He hardly uses a serious face so I begin to become worried.

(( I am lazy ._. ))

Nm- Can you promise me something?

D- Of course! 

Nm- Promise me to never eat the black apple no matter what reason you have.

D- I promise but I have to ask, why would you want me to promise that?

Nm- It is not important 

I see Nightmare's face get more sad and he starts to tear up, I realised that I hurt his feelings so I quickly wiped his tears. He blushes a light purple and I blush a golden yellow, my smile sinks as I think back to the promise. I shake my head knowing that Nightmare doesn't want to talk about it.

I respect if he doesn't want to talk about but I know it hurts him so I wan to help him! 

Nightmare's POV

Dream wiped my tears and we both blushed but I my heart still sinks knowing the last reset. I lean in and kiss Dream, he kisses back. We pull apart for air and I smile at him, even if it was a little bit of a fake one. 

~time skip a few days~

I still had the thought of the reset in my mind but I managed to forget about it at some moments of the day. Sadly, every morning I put on this magic mask, it looks like my face and it looks realistic but it is always happy. I just don't want Dream to see me so sad, I fixed my aura a bit too so Dream doesn't notice.

Dream's POV

I have noticed that Nightmare has been acting more odd but he seems so happy. His face really does show it but I still feel like something is off. I start to worry even more thinking about what Nightmare may be hiding from me, I thought we said no secrets.

I sigh and I walk into Nightmare's room and I gasp asI see him pull of a mask! He hasn't noticed me so I start to silently breathe just so he knows I am not here. He should feel my aura though, I guess he is too distracted. 

As he pulls off the mask I see his real face, there were tears rolling down his face and he almost seemed.............depressed. 

I run over to him and hug him tightly! How dare he feel such bad emotions and not let me help!

Nightmare's POV 

I felt as Dream tightly held me in a hug, I couldn't hold back and I started to sob uncontrollably. I hug back as tight as I can and I sob into his chest. He rubs my back softly. " Shhhh~ Its okay Nighty, I am here shhhh~". He whispers to me, his voice already made me feel better, it was so soothing. I slowly fall asleep while still cuddling him close.

Dream's POV 

Nightmare falls asleep and I smile.Cute. I let him sleep on me, it seems like he hasn't slept in days and he looks so tired. I wonder if it had something to do with the promise we made a few days ago?

Ink's POV 

I wonder around the doodle sphere, I am thinking on how to ask Blue out but sadly Dream likes Blue too and I have a bad feeling that things are going to go worse. All of a sudden I see Dream and Blue burst into my void but I don't think they saw me. Blue seemed to be struggling to push Dream away and Dream seemed to be force kissing Blue!

This doesn't look right so I have to stop this and now! 

~ Hmmm looking forward on making a Blue x Ink and to do a one-shot book!~ 

~ I MADE IT PAST 1,000 WORDS, YAY!! Bye!~
