민윤기 yoongi - sleepless nights

- short fluff

you tossed and turned on the bed for almost three hours by now. it's the second week in a row which yoongi didn't come home. you were never mad about it, though. bts are having a comeback really soon. you understood that yoongi had to work to earn your living too. you rolled over to the other side of the bed. it was cold, without yoongi's warmth. you miss him, a lot, so you hugged his pillow tightly and inhaled his scent greedily, trying to sleep without your thoughts wandering to that man again.

you suddenly heard the door unlocking. your eyes englarged twice their size - yoongi is finally home? you stayed still in the same position, until you heard your bedroom door creaked open. "y/n?" his deep voice floated into your ears. you immediately turned to face the door and sat upright on the bed, quickly pulling the pillows and blackets out of the way, then rushed to the door to give him a tight hug. "i miss you... so much." you half-whispered, voice muffled by the fabric. you snuggled further into his chest.

his arms around your waist tightened. "i miss you too." you just stayed there in that position for a minute or so, enjoy each others' embrace and warmth. yoongi finally pulled away, you could see his dark circles very visible on his pale skin and his brows slightly creased together. "it's almost two in the morning, why haven't you slept yet?" yoongi's cold palms cupped your face, his thumb gently brushing over the area under your eyes. there was a hint of anger but mostly concern in his voice.

"i-i i can't sleep, without you." you replied honestly. yoongi let out a long audiable sigh. "don't you know how to call me and tell me to go home or something?" "i'm just afraid that i'll disturb you," you said, slightly pouting. he patted your head and said, "you'll always come first in my priority list."

yoongi told you to sit on the bed to wait for him while he went into the bathroom to shower. after drying his hair, he went straight to your room and opened his arms, signalizing you to cuddle with him. you laid comfortably on the bed and rolled into his arms. your were legs tangled together and you could feel his breath on your neck.

"good night." "sleep tight." you two smiled, before closing your eyes and dozing off to dreamland. you hazily heard yoongi whispering "i love you" in your ears. then you two had the most comfortable and deep slumber you had in two weeks.

they say that love doesn't need sweet words. all it needs is the action that shows your affection. yoongi and you never talked much, but both of you know that you love each other dearly.
