Mother came back out with Y/n. The little girl was wearing some of my clothes from when I was her age. "So, you need me to tell you how to raise a child?" Mother asked. I nodded. "Well, you need to be nice. You need to care for the child by showing her she's loved. You need to be there for her. You need to teach her how to be a good person. And you need to be supportive. You NEED to listen." Mom listed a few things. That's a lot. "Another thing, it's not wise to leave her to be alone if you're not within the same building." She started.
"Don't just let her go outside without a trusted adult and don't leave her home alone." She concluded. "If you need, I can babysit her whenever you leave and don't want to bring her." Mom added. "Anything else?" I asked. "Why did you adopt her?" Mother asked. "Do I need a reason?" I asked in reply. "No but I know you don't care for children." She responded. I'm not just going to tell her 'because this child could possibly have powerful magicks'. "What if I just felt bad?" I replied. I could tell she was still suspicious.
"And what about her clothes? We need to get her something suited for girls." I asked. "I can get some clothes made for her. In the mean time, your old clothes will have to do." She answered. Y/n even had the mask I used to wear on. "Alright. We're leaving now." I said as I started walking while holding Y/n's hand. "Who's that?" She asked ask we were walking back to my house. "That was your grandmother." I replied. "Oh. Okay. She's pretty." Y/n commented.
I just continued walking. Now that I think about it, this child has pretty good vocabulary for her age. How can she speak so well? She's only 3! Wait, is she? "How old are you?" I asked once we got back to the house. "I'm 3 years old today!" She responded. Today? Wait..... "Is it your birthday today?" I asked. She nodded. She looks so happy now. Is she not sad that her parents got rid of her ON HER BIRTHDAY!?

Mr.Dad asked me how old I was. He was surprised when I told him it's my 3rd birthday today. I'm happy that, as a present, I now get to be raised by someone who won't yell at me all the time for no reason saying that I'm their biggest mistake. I'm happy that I have a new family.

It took me quite a while but I finally understand how to raise a child. I've had Y/n for half a year already. Something about her.... It makes me happy to see her smile. It's weird. Her new clothes came in a couple months ago. She has a collection of O'Khasis dresses and a few other outfits (and PJs). Her dresses all have one thing in common, the O'Khasis symbol (the cross). Other than that, they come in black, white, f/c and s/f/c (second fav colour). I also bought her a few toys so that she doesn't get bored while I'm working.

"Why do you have to go? Can't you just not start wars with villages?" I asked. Dad wants to start a war with a village named Phoenix Drop. He already told me he won't be back for a few years since he's also planning on going to Irene's dimension. "I have to go. You wouldn't understand." He replied. I was crying. I don't want him to leave. Especially on my birthday. "B-b-b-b-but, I'll miss you." I cried. "I told you, I'll be back in a few years. You'll stay with your grandmother until then." He said.
I wouldn't stop crying. "Hey. Stop crying. You know I don't like your annoying tears." He demanded. I looked up at him. "You better come back as soon as possible." I told him. He nodded. He grabbed my hand and we walked to grandma's house. When we got there, he knelt to the ground to kiss my forehead before saying bye and leaving. I knocked on the door.

Y/n was crying. I hate to leave her. It breaks my (non existant) heart tk see her cry. It's her birthday too so I feel extra bad about leaving but I have to. I must get Irene's relic. I haven't seen Y/n's strange magicks that I read about in the note. I've kept her around because....it made me happy to have a daughter like her. Once I was done trying to comfort her, I brought her to mother's house then left after saying bye.

{A few years later (Y/n's now 14)}
It's been 6 years since dad left. I've been living with my caring grandmother and my (not so caring) grandfather. They've been raising me to be able to fight. To be strong. They've also been making sure I study. I have to grow up as a mature teenager. Even when I was younger, I had to grow up quickly. Every day, I have training to fight and studying. I was in my room singing quietly (as to not be heard) when I saw a light. That looks like....Irene's relic!?
That's the relic dad was going after! Why is it here? Before I had time for another thought, the relic came to me and...became part of me? What?
~Zane~
The relic disappeared!?!?!?!? Where did it go!?
