The Escape

You hear nothing but sirens and running, the citadel is on full alert, all you can think about is what will happen next. You see an unfamiliar figure wearing Elite armour press buttons on a control panel and almost in tune with the final pushing of a button your pod seals around you leaving you to look at the white underbelly of the pod with light emitting from the blue/green translucent area at the top of your pod. You feel a slight rumble and shake as your pod begins to move, you leave the citadel, as you leave you see a glimpse of a few other pods, you don't get to count how many as you only caught a quick look. You assume that the soldiers who stayed were now were escaping to some form of transportation. You wonder what destroyed the dark matter reactor and what army could breach the citadel. As soon as you are done brainstorming you land into a forest.
