The Attack

You heard sirens, similar to the ones you heard in the citadel in city 17. Though this time it was the citadel going onto high alert and then the rebels attacked. They weren't dumb enough to go on a full frontal assault however they were making hit and run guerrilla attacks. These attacks would chip away at the defenses but after some reorientation of defenses and strategy they began to only lose more and more. A loud noise in the citadel is heard. An explosion? You thought that would be impossibly as there would be no way that they would get past the defenses. Civil unrest would make the Civil Protection practically useless and the streets would be evacuated, remaining forces would be guarding the citadel but the best of the best would be up where the explosion was. All advisors were loaded into pods and you saw 3 launch, but yours didn't launch, as your pod was closing you saw a person in a yellow/orange suit with grey/black parts. The soldier who was going to launch your pod was shot in front of you. You were stuck inside with the rebels. SURELY you thought SOMEONE would notice that a pod didn't launch. Some OTA noticed but they were all killed. In the end a female wearing casual clothing with a jacket on would push something and your pod would expose your body. This is bad. REALLY bad you thought.
