RILEY'S POV
Accepting my three months stay in the Sengoku period in the employ of the Warlord, Nobunaga Oda, I bowed to him and his men.
"I won't let you down."
But Nobunaga caught my chin and lifted it back towards him.
"I plan to take very good care of you, Riley."
I frowned a little and I thought to myself.
'I guess appropriate isn't in his vocabulary and wow, his eyes...'
I nearly got lost in his gaze but, after remembering what he was capable of, I smacked his hand away from me.
"Ow."
"I already told you! don't touch me so casually! what part of that don't you understand, ya fecking eejit!!"
Nobunaga carnivorous smile vanished after smacking his hand. Hideyoshi looked furious when I yelled at Nobunaga.
"You! how dare you be so rude to-"
"Enough, Hideyoshi."
'Hmpf, I guess I could have my fun with these warlords, at least that'll entertain me for a while.'
Leaning back, Nobunaga began to laugh.
'What does he find so funny? Is it me? because that's upsetting.'
I thought to myself as I scooted away from him so I was sitting far away from him as I could. Ieyasu frowned and he then spoke up.
"You're not interested in that waif? A stiff breeze would knock her over. Not to mention the way she speaks is weird."
I glared at Ieyasu and I said to him.
"The way I speak is not weird, it's normal for me because I was born and raised in Ireland."
Ieyasu sweat dropped when I said this and then Masmune asked me.
"Ireland huh? that explains it, but, you look like you're Japanese and yet you have a different accent."
"I'm Japanese-Irish, it means I'm born half Japanese and half Irish, which kinda explains my accent and my looks."
"Well, nothing wrong with being different, welcome to Azuchi castle, Riley."
Masamune said before ruffling my hair.
"Hehe! stop it! you're messing up my hair!"
"Apologies."
Masamune said with a smirk on his face after he stopped ruffling my hair. Hideyoshi frowned at me and he said to me.
"Riley, next time you dare raise a hand against Lord Nobunaga, I will cut you down where you stand."
"Excuse me?"
I asked as Hideyoshi glared at me while sitting in the spot closest to Nobunaga.
"You're gonna kill me just because I raised my hand to him? I was defending myself, I mean didn't you even notice the way he grabbed me?"
"I said enough."
Nobunaga's command shot through the room. I jumped in fright when he spoke in that commanding voice of his. But, Hideyoshi looked positively abashed.
"My apologies, my lord."
Hideyoshi bowed grimly and I found myself doing the same. Suddenly, one of Nobunaga's men came rushing into the room and then he knelt down to him.
