So here I was, walking along the street, thinking I could be normal, like the other West Lake High kids, when this man comes up and bites me on the neck! Like, how much ruder can you get?
Oh, I'm sorry. I guess I was pretty rude just then, not introducing myself and all. Let me start over. My name is Annabeth Moonlight and I'm 17 years old . I'm a senior at West Lake High in Arizona. On graduation day, which is only a couple days away, I'll be 18. I was just a normal girl until, again, the man came up and bit me.
I, of course, having been taught self defense for 2 years, earned a triple degree black belt, and started teaching when I was 15, flipped the guy and pinned him to the ground, using his size against him. This was all outside the school, too, so everyone was watching when I demanded an apology and explanation.
"I can not tell you," he growled. "You would not understand."
"Try me."
"My Goddess told me to Turn you."
"Turn me into what?" I asked, laughing. "A werewolf?"
"Awooo!" a spectator howled.
The man growled, and I felt his chest rumble. "Exactly. Nyx told me to Turn you. And that, young child, is not what a werewolf howl sounds like. Now, if you will let me go, I am going to return to my pack." And, with an unatural strength, the strange man pulled out of my grip and sped off into the distance. I was glad he was gone. His words made me sense the truth within them, but my brain didn't want to accept it. So, shaking my head, I turned and walked into the school, making it into my seat just as the tardy bell rang.
The rest of the day passed in a blur, including lunch. I could sense my friend's curious gazes on me when I was silent the wholetime, but they were smart enough to keep their mouths shut about it.
When I walked home, I got the creepy sense something was following me. I walked a little quicker all the way home.
I ate dinner in my room and watched TV (which of course was werewolves), said goodnight to my parents, and then went to sleep. But before I did, as I closed the blinds, I could swear I saw a snow white wolf watching me.
Hello non-spacelings!
I know it's short, but how do y'all like it? I want you all to know that this is one of my first books, and it won't be perfect, but what book is? Anyway, always feel free to message or comment on my errors in typing. I don't have a keyboard, so it will be prone to the terrifying and horrendous auto correct.
Also, who do you think the white wolf is? A wolf? Or a werewolf? A boy? Or a girl? Just so you know, he/she will be in the book somewhere! Oh, the suspense! It must be killing you! Heeheehee!
The woman on the cover is Annabeth.
Plus, I need a cover and a new title. This one doesn't really tie into the story, so I need a new one. Send cover ideas to my inbox and I will dedicate a chapter to you! Same thing with the title! Or maybe two chapters of dedication....

PS. I will try to update at least once every other month, but if I can't manage that, I will update at least once or twice a year. Lol, just kidding. ;P If I don't update once a month, I will update as soon as I finish a chapter. But I think updates will be irregular, so just keep posted. I'm thinking about setting a bar. You know, votes or comments. So tell me what you want the bar to be! Votes? Or comments? PS over. :) Maybe.
PPS. The cover I have right now was made by Shubhhy! So a big thank you to her!
