He was in the most fearful state after the thought came to mind. Did the Milicja take her away? For many knew the Milicja as the secret police, it was a common fear that if someone went missing, they would guess it was the Milicja.
He immediately ran upstairs to his brother's room. Melvin was there.
"Where's mum", he asked.
Melvin was Edger's twin brother. The only difference between the two was the fact that Melvin dyed his hair green and the fact that Melvin was almost never home.
"She's at a meeting. She's applying for a job at Central District with the Ministry of Economics." It was a relief to hear that she was ok. But it was strange that she would work with the government.
But Edger wanted to make sure she was ok. He took the metro to downtown. He grabbed his wallet and left while leaving his backpack.
