It was already dark outside as it began to rain. Edger got off the metro and ran to the ministry offices. He stopped to take his breath when he arrived just outside the complex. The complex was a wide rectangular concrete structure. Every window was a wide blue yet long glass pane with triangular concrete pillars that separated them. The entrance was grand with luxurious glass panes with the most beautiful glass that had circular waves and curves in the glass. The entrance showed flags of the communist party on the sides of the entrance, though it was half visible because of the two pillars in front of the entrance.

Edger began to take a step, but as he took that step, he stopped suddenly. His sharp ears pricked. Security guards later armed themselves immediately as a man came running at them. They revealed their weapons and opened fire at him. But as the mysterious man ran at them, he exploded, (yes... literally exploded), as a massive shock had put everyone to the ground. Edger hit his head on the concrete floor, and fell unconscious.

He woke up minutes later and saw papers, debris, and dust in the air. Smoke was rising from the ruined building. Edger's ears prickled as he touched his gills, covered in blood. He was badly injured by debris. At first he felt no pain, but then he felt his whole body to suffer.  He being lifted by first responders. He was put in an airlift and he was out after that.
