Chapter Eight

I could feel tears running to my eyes.
Hold them in.
Hold them in.
Personally I think the best way to hold in your tears is to not think about. Just think happy thoughts.

I didn't want to go back to my dorm or have any contact with anyone. Just let them worry about me anyway. Ugh I'm so dramatic.

I walk to my favourite cafe. They always have the best Coffee and sweets. I order a coffee and pay.

Outside is see Kyle. He's entering with a guy.
My heart is beating out of my chest, my throat is swelling, and my palms are sweating. I'm getting dizzy. I scurry out the door. The fresh air feels nice on my face.

I unlock my dorm door.
"Hello?"
No reply.
I guess I'm home alone. I close the door and sit on the sofa.
"Where's the damn remote?" I whisper to my self.

I hear someone unlocking the door. I jump up and run into my room. 
"Hello?"
That's Andreas voice. I open my door and say hello to her. She's wearing a bright yellow dress and red sunglasses.

"O-M gosh where have you been? Geez, I had looked for you everywhere!" Andrea looked concerned.
"I was... nowhere."

I tried to avoid eye contact but Andrea gently pulled my chin up for my eyes to meet hers.
"I know you haven't been "nowhere", Chloe. "Nowhere doesn't exist." She said. "You're always somewhere." She put her hands on her hips.
I didn't reply because I couldn't find words to say.
"I want the truth, now."

Andrea sure knows how to get the truth out of you. I explained everything from beginning to the end.

We get interrupted by a knock on the dorm door. I get up and open it. It's Kyle. He pulls me into a tight hug.
"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." He said.

I want to forgive him so bad, but at the same time I don't want to. I look into his beautiful eyes.
"I forgive you." The words popped out of my mouth.
"Oh thank goodness." He says as he pulls me into another hug.

He winks and walks into his room. I have so many mixed emotions.
