— The pain was too much to bear. I walked straight to my tent ignoring any glances and just lay down on the floor of my tent and listen to everything.
The quiet whispering of each of the delinquents, the small sounds of different animals and insects, and the sound of Artemis' voice in my head.
I all of a sudden hear, "sleep." In Artemis' voice and do as it says.
When they first met
It was my first time out of my housing area. My mother never told me why I couldn't leave. It would never be home.
While exploring the ark I feel a large collidance (not a word I think 😂) of two bodies. One of them being my own.
As I drop to the floor freaking out on the inside and probably outside I see a girl my age with yellow hair. (Realize shes like 7 when this happens she is too lazy to use the word blonde...)
I start to freak out and do the thing I do best. "Did you know that we should already be heading to the ground because we have solar radiation in our body which is higher levels o—"
I'm cut off from her laughing, "you obviously don't have much social interaction, I'm Artemis."
"I'm Cassiopeia,"
"I think I'm just going to call you Cassie."

I'm worried for Cassie she just walked away, no emotion on her face and fell asleep in her tent. She hasn't done this since her dad died. But Raven, Artemis, and I helped her through that.

"Cassiopeia time for dinner," I hear my mom say. My ten your old self is ready to leave after dinner with a small bag because I want to see Artemis, she's introducing me to new people.
