Chapter 4

MISS YOU

John's POV:

Then I woke up

I rubbed my eyes and looked around, it was all a dream, John then looked at his phone.

John sighed as he read the date on his phone, today was the date on his phone, it was, yesterday ?, John sat up, was yesterday all a dream then. John got up and went downstairs,

"John, Alex is arriving today, this afternoon, we'll be able to go to the bus stop if you like"

John shook his head, happy his mom didn't wake him up and said the same thing over agian, at least it wasn't some 'Happy death day' crap.

"You...you don't want to go see him?, I always thought you two where inseparable, in fact when you where younger I always thought you two where gay"

John froze and looked at his mom

"I mean like, dating, not, oh you you know what I meant" Eleanor pushed her son lightly

Eleanor was really the only one who knew John was gay, she even helped him hide it. Mainly form his father, Henry was a good man and all but he just had different views on this sort of thing.

"Riiiight" John playfully rolled his eyes.

"I Hope nothing happened between you two, are you ok?"
Eleanor looked at him concerned.

"I'm fine ma, I just don't know if I'm first person Alex wants to see right now"

Eleanor laughed and looked at him "John, you, his best friend since middle school, you really think he doesn't want to see you?"

"Yea, I mean I just feel selfish taking everyone thunder I guess"

Eleanor looked at him and put her hand on his back, she could tell by the way John looked at him and talks to him and smiles at him, John loved him, Eleanor could tell, John hasn't told Alex,...yet, but one day he well. Or at least he should.

There was a knock at the door, John went to and opened it.

"JOOHNNNNY!!!!!!!"

Soon enough, John was picked up by the slightly older boy. Alex spun John around, and hugged him as tight as he can, it's been months since he was able to hug him and hold him and ki- KEEP HIM SAFE.

Alex put John down and pushed him back a little.

"Why didn't you come see me, I missed you so so so so much", Alex looked like he could cry any moment.

"Well I ju-"John was cut off by Alex hugging him agian.

"I just missed you a lot" Alex was slightly crying now.

Alex looked at into John's eyes but then then he had this horrified expression grow on his face. Both of John eyes where brown, but they where never brown before.

"John..." Alex squinted his eyes

"Yea" John raised an eyebrow

Alex breathed in loudly
"BITCH ARE WEARING YOU COLOR CONTACTS!!!"

"What ?"John lowered his eyebrows

"OH!!, I wear them to school, I didn't want the kids to make fun me, they have been recently"

Alex smushed John's face together
"Now listen here you little bicth, YOU TELL WHOEVER THE FUCK IS TELLING YOU YOUR EYES ARE UGLY, THEY CAN STICK MY SHOE RIGHT TH-

"OK!!!!" John cut Alex off

5 minutes later John came out of bathroom, his eyes where no longer brown, and back to being two different colors, Light blue, and green.

Alex looked in his eyes, OF COURSE TOTALLY NOT GETTING LOST IN THEM AND STARING TO DAY DREAM.

"...Lex"

Alex was snapped back into reality by John, he looked behind he could see Eleanor giving him that look. Oh no

"Mrs Laurens...Hi" Alex smiled

Eleanor laughed "Alex, you've been in this house, to many times to count, and you want to call me Mrs Laurens, You can call me mom."

"Oh ok El- wait, why mom?" Alex looked back at Eleanor with a confused look.

John just put his face in his hands and shook his head, He was blushing and trying to hide a smile.

Alex looked back and forth between the two, he kept the confused look only to be more confused.

Not to long after the little moment, John's dad walked in, Alex turned and smiled at Henry.

"Mr. Laurens, Hello"

Henry stood there and looked at Alex for a moment, He looked the boy up and down then began walked toward him, he past him however and ruffled John's hair, then kissed his wife.

"When did Alex get here" He whispered

"Oh not to long ago, he got back from his trip to France early for john" she smiled back

Eleanor is always talking Alex up to Henry, she could tell John loved him, they way he looked at him and smiled at him. She could see the spark in his eyes when ever Alex smiled and laughed, man did John love to see that boy happy.

"MOOOOM!!!" They heard John's sister Martha call for her. Just then she appeared in the door way.

"JR TIRED TO PUSH ME DOWN THE STAIRS!!!", Martha pointed at Henry, who his family called Jr.

"STOP LYING!!", Jr yelled back. And just like that the two where practically bickering like an old married couple.

"ALEX!!!!" Mary smiled at me, she ran up and hugged me. Mary was the youngest of John's siblings.

"ALEX!!!!" The rest of then piled on top of me and soon enough Alex fell to the floor.

"Guys don't kill the boy" John laughed. John just watched as Alex go attacked with hugs and questions.

Alex never really noticed how close he was with John's family until now, I mean sure he came over a lot but he was surprise they all missed him so much.

-An hour later-

Alex walked back to his house with John, they talked for a while about everything that happened in France, yes, even the animals, of course John just fell to floor and began to die of laughter.

After they made it to Alex's houses Alex picked up the mat and took a spare key from under it. He unlocked the door to find his two two adopted brother's, Ajax and Christian, who are twins, and his step bother Peter, but most call him Pete.

The three of them where playing a video game with a whole headset and everything. Alex walked in front of them and they all jumped up and hugged their brother because, brother.

They all said hey to John as well, and soon enough John and Alex joined in on the game as well. After that Alex walked John back home.

"I'll catch up with you tommorw, I still have a couple people to go see and shit" Alex said Goodbye to John and walked back down the street.

"Heh, it's 10 p.m. Alex who do you have to go see now" John Hid a smirk from his face.

"A lot of other people, See ya"
Alex continue to walk away.

John closed the door and walked quietly up to his room, it was kinda dark and the only light coming in was from the moonlight. Just then John heard a noise, John made some funny ninja stance, Just then his mom spun around in the chair and turn on a lamp them looked at him

"You said you'd be back at 8" Eleanor crossed her arms and raised her eyebrow.
